What's laughable is the moocher mindset you display.
Accepting that definition for the sake of argument....
it's preferable to the rapist mindset the right displays.

What if the government decided to pick out what car was best for you -- you no longer have a choice.
^^^
The Administration decided back in 2010 that some people make bad purchases of health insurance and that they, the Administration, know better often costing the individual more. The comparison of the government deciding what car you should own is spot on.
You're missing the point of how insurance works. It's like saying "Mr. President, recently I was shocked to discover that car insurance covered my neighbour's minivan, when I don't even own that minivan, nor, clearly, would I ever drive one. What are you going to do about it?"
Insurance pays for things that aren't about you, because it is about pooling risk. That is the main point of this financial product.
You pay for that pooling effect in all insurance products. It is how it works.
It actually borders on mental deficiency. People who buy cars actually have only to deal with themselves, their own needs and their knowledge of cars. Insurance - ANY insurance - has to deal with EVERYONE, not to mention that most regular folks don't know anything about it.
It's a pile of crap. It's only redeeming quality is that it's somewhat of an improvement over what we had.
The republicans have offered changes in health care --- but not a overhaul like the democrats.
Just a few of the plans offered . . .

Bill Clinton said yesterday that Obama should own up to his lie and make good on his promise of people being able to keep their insurance. It's humorous that Clinton who told his share of lies in the 90's would tell Obama to tell the truth.
Obamacare is huge mess. Huge programs that affect so much of the US economy should not be passed by a one party vote. The confusion is going to get worse. The web site is corrupt and not safe to enter personal information. Americans will only have 2 weeks to purchase insurance ... that is if the web site is actually working and secure.
Obamacare is a MESS.
It was bipartisan. And the larger chunk of the law is Republican. Go bark at your own tree.

On December 23, the Senate voted 60–39 to end debate on the bill: a cloture vote to end the filibuster by opponents. The bill then passed by a vote of 60–39 on December 24, 2009, with all Democrats and two independents voting for, and all Republicans voting against (except for Jim Bunning, who did not vote).[101] The bill was endorsed by the AMA and AARP.[102]
The House passed the Senate bill with a 219–212 vote on March 21, 2010, with 34 Democrats and all 178 Republicans voting against it.[117]
