Humor-Satire What are some good reasons for the United States to invade Canada?

If that's your position cease all the whining about welfare. Many people on aid are working full time jobs.

It's pretty sad when a huge portion of the workforce has to relay on government aid to be able to survive, since their wages are so inadequate, and but people who think they're better tell them how well-paid they are.

Actually, welfare fraud is difficult to start. A study by the University of New Mexico found that welfare fraud amounts to no more than 4% of revenue spent on welfare. While that is significant, it is less than estimates of the extent of tax fraud in America.

Whoa -- it's as high as 4%? I think I want to know how big the individual amounts are before I decide if it's worrisome.

I know there's food stamp fraud, but most of it is such pittances as to not be worth the effort to do anything about -- and some is unintentional, like when a guy I know reported his income in sloppy writing, and it got copied incorrectly with the result that he got thirty-ish more dollars for three months. But in instances where someone is managing to rake off serious bucks, the hammer should fall hard.

Over the last few decades it's become painfully apparent that people who shine about welfare fraud are just looking for any excuse to take it away from everyone.

And when you look at how much money actually goes out of an individual person's paycheck to food stamps or welfare.... it's not as though they're even going to realistically feel the difference anyway. Yet the way people talk, they think they're being yoked to pushing a boulder uphill because of all these handout programs.

Climate change is drying and heating the planet up. We need to get the hell away from the equator, and move farther north. The Pacific Northwest is the next LA county. We need all that vast real-estate in Canadaland to build our newest, temperate suburbs.

Unfortunately, or maybe not, and I might be wrong, after Miller assimilated Coors, Moulson soon followed, and that was all under the auspices of SA (South Africa) Beverages! (UU)

Maybe we should be aiming our cruise missiles, etc., toward Johannesburg? :slap:

Of course ... No Matter What ...

Keep Smilin'!! (*8*)

When I was in college, I attended a party in an apartment on the second floor of the building. A bottle of Molson rolled off the balcony and struck the concrete parking lot below.

The bottle did NOT break.

We all decided that Canadians make great bottles!
