"Church Lady Maple Fudge?"

Dear God no.
The sort of sickly sweet confection that women of my grandmother's age would have made for the Church Tea. Tastes like diabetes and tooth decay. And maple.
As far as I'm concerned the only valid reason to invade is because America has not yet invented drive-thru coffee in its big cities.
Not to mention McDonald's in every town of any significance...You must be in the wrong place. In Oregon, there are drive-through coffee places in towns as small as 2k people!
Dang, you beat me to it!!Gurl, you can get coffee at the drive-thru at McDonalds.
Ahhh, Lemon Chess Pie.

That would be diabetes and tooth decay, and Lemon peel.
Oh hell yes. Maple glazed salmon is an unforgettable delight.
Granted, I'm not the most broadly accomplished seafood eater on the planet, but anything with a candied/sweet taste on fish is just a concept I recoil from. I feel the same way about applesauce and pork chops.
It looks like a lemon meringue pie with crust instead of meringue. Yes?
here's the fudge, if you dare:

Agreed. Maple belongs on pancakes and salmon, and little else. Church lady maple fudge is an abomination.

Ahh well when I do it there's garlic, lemon, ginger, pepper, sesame, and a bit of soy sauce involved; it's not like Church Lady Maple Fudge at all. The maple's more of an undertone. Just the glow within the ember, so to speak.
Really good wild smoked Salmon is sweet like candy almost. Farm Salmon is shit.

As far as applesauce and pork chops, ehhhhhh... I'll pass.
I did ACTUALLY picture maple syrup on the salmon, so yes, that's quite different. lol.
That's a disgusting image.
They don't have couches.
...Oh! And I can't forget Tire d'érable! Toffee made on fresh snow with maple syrup. Awesome. In small quantities.
Snow? What is that, some kind of commie plot I suspect.
Actually it can also be nice on French toast.
And it does not belong on bacon or sausage. You should take preventive measures to keep them apart.
