Slow start this morning.

Time to take up the swiss chard today and some potatoes.

And work on the presentation I have to give in a few weeks.

I live in fear of them.

Two months ago I dozed off at my desk only long enough to either snore or aspirate loudly, and my young co-worker was coming over from one aisle over when I came to.

Mortified.

I've never blacked out before or since. My sleep at night is sometimes scant, plus I have sleep apnea, so get poor sleep, but I usually have no problem staying awake at work.
 
Cleaning up some treasures I found out thrifting. My sister's bithday is two weeks away, and I'm making a parcel of things she will love.
 
Got back from shopping at Stew Leonard's and ShopRite.

Put away the refrigerator items. I might need a nap before I do the pantry stuff. :)
 
I got Patti LaBelles Peach Cobbler and Haagen Dazs vanilla ice cream and Ali can't have any.
 
Finished with the lawn...something whining with the mower...hope it lasts the season. Next year is replacement year. I only keep them for about 4 years and then replace and give the current mower away.

Now I am returning to working on my Power Point/Video presentation.
 
Very unfair.

I should be baking pie but won't be. But it would be blueberry.

We will be heading off to Vermont this week and not hosting family Thanksgiving next Sunday, so no pies to be eaten by anyone this week.

But omg I would blow you for a slice of fresh cherry pie.

I have to respond to this. When I was in my late 50's I blacked out a couple of times at my desk and didn't know until I came to. I don't know how long I was out, but think only briefly. I think I was starting to have a health problem. I did get meniere's disease sometime later.

Friday morning I had a colonoscopy and preparing for it on Thursday wasn't fun. I didn't take my prescriptions on Thursday nor Friday morning. I have an enlarged prostate and I take pills to try to control it. By Friday afternoon and evening I couldn't urinate and it was getting painful. I went to the emergency room of the hospital Friday night and they put a catheter in and a bag on. Friday and Saturday the bag had blood in it as well as urine and there was some blood on my underwear, although it was better later Sunday. Saturday I called my urologist, who doesn't have hours on Saturday, and talked to someone and they said to call back on Monday morning. Saturday we had a neighborhood block party and I had told someone I would attend, but I didn't want to socialize with a bag of urine on my leg even though it was under my pant leg. This morning when I got up the bag was so full of urine, even though I had emptied it before I went to bed, that it came off of the tube, but I caught it and put it back on. This morning the doctor's office would see me briefly at 8:30 AM and 2:40 PM and I had 15 minutes to get there this morning. I jumped in the car and my dashboard lights came on saying service the engine. The car did operate okay, but I cannot take it in today because I need it for the doctor. Besides today's doctor appointments I now have a car appointment for tomorrow and a prior eye doctor appointment for Wednesday.

Suffering. With the cold that is going around.

I plan on going back to bed for awhile today because I had an unsettled night.
