Attention What are you doing at the moment? 2024-25

Crap. I am juggling about 10 projects today and every fucking one of them has some kind of external complication or issue.

Fuck off.

I was going to have a nap.

And now it is too late.

^Now I'm going to have to go buy a bottle of white port. I have never heard of it before, but I do like port.

Going to get up and go make breakfast. Hope I have some corn grits in the pantry.

Was watching Tremors in the background while I posted, and kept seeing set design and prop mistakes. There was a man hoeing his garden, and the set designer had poked the top three leaves of a plastic ficus in the ground (probably to resemble beans, which never look like that when that young). Bacon and Ward are running from thte worm and try to leap a concrete-lined arroyo, across which a boarbed wire fence is stretched, feebly. That would never happen when the arroyo is deeper than the men are tall. The fence would stop, and resume on the other side. I've only seen Tremors maybe 20 times over the years. The scene where they are pumping a septic tank shows the offal blowing out at the hose connection to the valve. Literally impossible, as vacuum is pulling it out of the tank, not pumping it up into the truck. It wouldn't spray out, but merely fall back into the tank as vacuum failed, sucking air into the hose if it had a breach, not blowing it out. But they needed the spray to make it calamitous.

Always something new to see in a movie.

Inflating my blow up doll that I got for Christmas with realistic chest hair.

Just totally zoning today.

I am supposed to be working on several projects...but I just hit the wall last night.

Have to start my pizza dough at about 3:45 so no nap this afternoon.

^ Totally. I haven't heard the music for too long.

Just moving into the final stages of pizza prep.

We were at the store yesterday and they must have been having a special on pizzas for 10.99 and I'm think that for us to make a pizza at home takes a huge amount of prep time and of course about $25 worth of ingredients for a pizza of the same size and almost suggesting to my partner that we just run back and pick up one of the factory made cardboard pizzas with a smattering of toppings.

Ours will have our butcher's own smoked bacon, sausage, 4 types of cheese, homemade tomato sauce from our own patch, kalamats olives, red onions and mushrooms. Muaaaahhh. (chef's kiss)

/\ When ever I have a frozen pizza, once or twice a year, I add stuff to make it more appealing and filling.

Didn’t even eat the chili. Had a banana and grapes instead

I do, too, but I think starboard might be a bit better. :lol;

I've heard of white port, but I had a sense of it as a cheap California port. But after a search, I found that there are apparently better white ports out there. I am now struggling to resist--port, white or not, does not fit into my white trash budget. Then, too, I'm trying to avoid alcohol. Fortunately, I think temptation will be easily avoided, since I don't recall ever seeing white port for sale locally, except for the cheap California type.

I gave up all but trace amounts of dairy a few years ago, and so it's been that long since I had a pizza, frozen or otherwise. When I still had frozen pizzas, I had them as they came, being too lazy to doctor them up.

I was tempted to get a frozen pizza that I liked years back for Christmas dinner. I liked it years back as is--it had plenty of toppings--but I cringe at the current price, given my current budget.

I just started making some soup for dinner. I can't say for sure, but I don't think I'm making it as often this year as I was last year. Although, thanks to the wonders of canned soup still darkens my bowl fairly regularly.
