Too late, I already ate it 😂 and it was perfect. I’ve really mastered the steak. I finally found the secret. I never let the steak sit out long enough. Now I’ve been letting it sit for at least an hour and half to come to room temperature and letting the pan get warm enough before starting.

Today I splurged on a fillet mignon and it was so tender and juicy.

The corn on the cob was really good too. I don’t know where it comes from this time of the year but it was crisp and sweet.

In bed snuggling with kitties and wishing that said kitties knew what weekends are and what a pleasure sleeping in on weekends is.

Back outside to finish burning off brush, planting a grove of trembling aspen and raking out a weedy patch along the stone fence line in the upper west lawn that I want to keep mown this year to arrest the spread of dog strangling vine.

It’s raining here so I can’t work outside today ;)

I’m baking a pork tenderloin for dinner. Pre-marinated in sweet teriyaki.

I doped the cats up on the nip so they’re sleeping it off.
