  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

What are you doing right now?

If I do that I end up pissed off for the rest of the day.
I’ve enjoyed doing it for many years. This Week at 9, over to Meet the Press at 10 and then the Face the Nation at 11. I’m usually making breakfast and cleaning the house while it’s on.

I used to watch the weeknight shows on MSNBC but I now I don't have broadcast TV and I think I'm better off for it.

Sitting in Whole Foods enjoying a cup of tea and some pastry (a kouign amann and a monkey bread) before going back to Carnegie Hall for the 2 pm concert, to which I scored a $10 rush ticket.

Oh Lord. I just can't now.

I am just finishing slicing up the bagels I made to freeze and about to go on a 'Throw the mouse' adventure with Missy.

Thinking about how to tell my 5 other siblings that I have cancer. I told 2 of the 7 left so far. I don't want to worry the rest , but I have to let them know.
How to bring it up? I'll figure it out. I just want to get it right and not have them worry. I am not worried

The soreness will pass, and you'll still have extra protection against COVID.
I woke up at 1:30 with a massive headache and cold sweats. I had the heat on 74 and wrapped in a heavy blanket. Couldn’t stop shivering but at the same time I was pouring sweat. It started to go away about an hour before my alarm went off.

Needless to say I’m really tired right now

Yes, the buddy gets side effects like that after every booster, too. And even after flu shots.
I'm very lucky: a little bit of soreness and some fatigue were the worst effects I had from the vaccine, and sometimes not even tat after boosters'. And I never have side effects after flu shots.

Are you feeling any better? Have the side effects started to pass?
Hope you've gotten through the day okay. Hang on, Caturday is coming!

Having grilled cheese and tomato soup for dinner

Do your cats come and pester you for cheese? Or, worse, try to make off with part of the sandwich?

My Annie comes into the kitchen and yells every time I take cheese out of the fridge.

No. they pester me if I’m eating a sandwich and have ham, turkey or chicken. Apollo pesters me over popcorn, yogurt and ice cream. Zeus doesn’t really care about those.

Wondering if I should have gotten the Covid booster today. My arm is so sore!

The soreness is a very good sign. I means you have a more robust immune system.

My sis has COVID this week and I am really concerned for her.

Enjoy the pain.
