Hon, city people do go places and do things on Sunday afternoons. Don't you remember that from your Toronto days?

Every Sunday afternoon (unless one of us is out of town or something), my best buddy and I get together. (And that's the case even when we'd gone to do something Saturday night, as we did this weekend.) We alternate his place in Brooklyn (with five cats) and mine in Queens (with two cats); this week it was my turn to travel.

Never really liked the feeling of using weed. Dabbled a little with it when I was younger. Knew this couple that would smoke all the time and sing and play the guitar. Loved being with them but the weed not so much.

Got all of our prep done for all the volunteers coming to plant trees here tomorrow. Normally we just pay a crew to do it, but we are looking to bring more young people into conservation and for every tree planted we donate the same amount back to the land trust that manages our conservation agreement.

Finishing editing a 'script' for a video to be recorded this week...and enjoying a Rickard's Red before dinner while catching up on email and getting around to reading an article written by one of our friends before seeing them on Sunday for dinner....

Time to relax.
