Grilled some ribs tonight - not great. The brand Costco used to carry were delicious - but they dropped them so I bought some Loyd's at the grocery store - they were not bad - but not a fan of the sauce - and with ribs the sauce is everything.

I've been ordering out too much lately. Sometimes twice in a day.

My favorite Italian pizza restaurant has one delivery guy who is very LOUD!

I open the front door and he sees me.....

HELLO!! MY FRIEND!! HOW ARE YOU TODAY?

*neighborhood dogs start barking*

DO YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS???

IT'S LUNCH TIME!!!

And dinner time is the same ....

Only it's DEENER TIME!!!

But he gets a pass cause he looks like Curly Howard and his hands are manicured and he is very clean. But smells like the old cologne English Leather.


The first time he delivered my neighbor friends called and asked if everything was ok. They heard shouting

Swiss burger with bacon lettuce and tomato for lunch. And they do a big mixed greens salad with grilled chicken for dinner.

Saffron Road to the rescue again. This time Vegetable Biryani. I also had a salad and blueberries.

Regular meals of Saffron Road dinners and clearance cake slices may be why I have trouble keeping ye olde grocery budget under control...

A Purple Carrot frozen dinner, which was on clearance. I wonder if the line just didn't sell well because people shopping at that store would think: "Something is wrong--carrots are orange!"

I had a small salad. I'm a bit worried if my lettuce supply will hold up until I can get back to the store.

Since tomorrow is a holiday had a great evening.

A buddy came over - grilled a couple of ribeye steaks - fresh corn on the cob - tossed salad and WAY too much beer.

Actually had stuffed cabbage that was from ShopRite kitchen prepared food. For about 8.00 bucks a pound you get two of them.

Sauce was a bit sweet and filling had a White Castle steamed onion flavor. But all in all not bad.
