Attention What are you having for dinner?

Pasta with somewhat upscale jarred pasta sauce that I got to try when there was a really good sale, The pasta sauce was at least as good as Ragu. :lol:

we were going to have pasta carbonara...but went for a nap this afternoon....got up late anmd so are having ham on a ciabatta instead.

So sad.
 
So far instant oatmeal and a banana.

I have beautiful boneless pork chops defrosted.

Just lazy.
 
I made a grilled cheese sandwich with the "foo foo" sourdough bread baked at the grocery store. It's been in the fridge untouched since mid-April. Because I'm not the breakfast cook. And well.

The slices are each about the size of two slices of Buttercrust or Sunbeam bread. Ok, two slices of american cheese with a slice of swiss broken in half. A nice sprinkle of black pepper.

It toasted nicely. I cut it in half. Put half on a saucer and put the pan with the other half in the oven.

Smeared on some Vegemite. Ate it in the kitchen while watching a deer graze in the back yard.

I'm not hungry. I ate something. <shrug>
 
Philly cheese steak sandwich - it was delicious!
 
A Purple Carrot frozen dinner ("Sweet Corn Elote Bowl.") I often have bought this brand, and sadly it's now on clearance at my regular store, suggesting they won't carry it any longer. 😥 On the other hand, I do like clearance prices while supplies last! :biggrin:

I had a salad, too. I was worried that it would have too much lettuce--I wanted to use up the old lettuce I had, since I'd gotten a new head of lettuce--but it worked out OK.
 
I'm going to grill boneless chicken thighs. Not in the mood to make a stir fry.
I sprinkled salt free lemon pepper on two. For salt I used Knorr's chicken bouillon powder.
The other two are sprinkled with Fiesta chicken rub.
Black pepper and a happy wave of garlic powder on all four.

Smells good. Might even taste good.
