I'm going to have to look for that. Sounds interesting. I hope they were sparing on adding water and starch to keep it moist, less it become a gravy.I've seen the Keystone canned ground beef in the store. But have not tried it. I probably should. I usually have some browned ground beef in the freezer for use in dishes. But it's usually a couple years old before I get around to using it. It sure would be easier to open a can.
Sweet Potato w/spread, Avocado w/mayonnaise, Peanuts, Peanut Butter on Round Vegetable Crackers, Pecans, and Ice Water
I read this as Baked beans with Febreze.Baked beans with debreziner sausage and coleslaw.
Well, I own THREE pressure cookers, so I guess I've saved 2/3 off the price. If you weigh the price of jars and your time, assuming you already have a pressure cooker, the Keystone meats are a decent deal.
A vacuum sealer is a great tool. I have a FoodSaver. The bags are stupid expensive at the grocery store and Wal-Mart. I buy my bags from a seller on eBay. I cheat, I pay a little more for bags, not rolls to make bags with. Wear and tear on the FoodSaver, ya know.
I'll get the pork loins at the HEB, they weigh six or eight pounds.
I'm glad to read your evaluation. Last year I bought a can of ground beef and a can (size of a large can of tuna) of shredded pork. Last month my house guest ate the shredded pork and he said it was good. The various Keystone meats are just meat with a pinch of salt. Nothing else.
My favorite is the Beef. Nice chunks of meat similar to canned beef stew. Dinty Moore for example. The Hamburger is good, too. It just ground and not cubed.
The Pork is good. I do like the Turkey. The Chicken falls apart like other brands of canned chicken and canned tuna.
The Febreze is for after.I read this as Baked beans with Febreze.
Easily solved problem. You could clamp your nose shut with a clothespin all day long!I hate cooking in the crock pot - you smell the food all day long and it makes me more hungry!
