Cherry. I bake a fabulous cherry pie. I sold them one summer when I was 15.

As for handling the crusts, I use a couple of spatulas under the soft crusts to transfer them from the rolling cloth to the pie plate. It's a bit awkward, but I'm usually successful in transferring them without poking a hole in the crust.

Pecan, Custard, Pumpkin and Cherry are my favorite ones to bake up.

Apple, Cherry, Blueberry, Chocolate Cream, Lemon Meringue, etc.....

I make excellent apple pie. Also pear pie. And berry. Yummm! I make a wonderful crust with olive oil...always turns out flaky and I roll the dough between sheets of parchment. Makes it easy to transfer to the plate/dish.

I'm Australian, so meat with gravy, occasionally with veggies, or curry. mmmm meat pie.

When I travelled the US, it was the first time I ever got to eat fruit pies apart from the typical apple pie that is everywhere. Loved cherry and pumpkin.

I prefer tart's when it comes to fruit though, a good lemon and lime tart is delish as long as it lives up to its name and is actually quite tangy.

CUSTARD.......and I make my own......with 1/2 and 1/2 ....... :p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p

Pecan, I've always liked.

When it comes to pies, I must admit I lean more towards savoury than sweet.

Otherwise, anything with a citrus custard is brilliant. YUM YUM YUM!!!!

Pies should be like donuts. "Cream" filled!

Chocolate Cream, Lemon Meringue, etc.

Try the traditional egg custard pie. Yummy. And it can be combined with fresh fruits too.

Not a huge pie lover but I do enjoy banana cream pies. :)
Do apple pies from mcdonalds count? (shrugs)
I do enjoy those when they're fresh/hot. Haha

Pies should be like [STRIKE]donuts[/STRIKE] guys. "Cream" filled!

Corrected for truth.

My favorite pie? One that's nearly completely impossible to find anywhere: BUTTERSCOTCH.

Others I really like include pecan, raspberry, strawberry-rhubarb, (dark or semisweet) chocolate, custard, pumpkin...and apple ALMOST as much.

I prefer the crust a little on the crispy side...and I don't like the pies to be overly sweet (especially common with pecan pies).

Apple Pie. It's simple and it goes oh so well with Ice Cream.

Flapper Pie.

Then of course apple and lemon meringue.

And then of course any kind of savoury meat pie, british pub style.

Sour cherry, key lime, pecan, mince meat, and my Mom's pumpkin (no other pumpkin pie does it for me).

Anyone ever heard of Sour Cream and Raisin Pie?

Grandma used to rave about it but never made it. She said her Mother used to make it and it was her brother's favorite.

Sounds different (trying to be polite here...:D)
