Boyfriend.

Though he thinks he's a comedian and introduces me as his wife from time to time >.> lol. We both laugh. Other people look at us wierd.

I call him my husband when we're out and being introduced to new people. To anyone else, he's probably talked about as my better/other half. I really have to size up the person I'm talking to first, though - sometimes it just doesn't pay to "flaunt" titles, even though we are legally married here in Norway...

To other people

This is Steve my______

His name was Steve. I introduced him as, "I'd like you to meet Steve, my husband". Sometimes, around straight people we did not know, I would introduce him as my partner. I think over the 30+ years we refered to each other as probably every option listed at one time or another.

Err since I'm in a leather household and in a tri or poly relationship I just refer to them as family.

I like that too. Boyfriend just sounds too pet like. And partner is politicly correct.

I call him "husband" though more properly he is my fiancé.

(And not my fiancée, because then he would need to grow boobies.)
