On Topic Discussion What do you think about bisexuals?

I can believe that. But it also sounds like exactly the kind of corner of America that gay men flee from as early in life as possible.

One gay couple is a bit like me: being by the ocean is important to them; one would spend every day out on the bay or ocean, fishing or just being there.

But yes, most do flee from here, along with just about everyone who can afford to go to college. It's an easy drive, if a bit long, over the coast range to Portland, though.

LOTS of gals here will tell a guy she's on the pill, and not be. Saying she's on the pill is how these gals trap a husband, and when they don't, well, the number of guys around here I've met who are paying child support is mind-boggling.

But look at how many straight men in small towns all across America, even knowing that, and watching all the Jerry Springer episodes about paternity tests and child support from trash women, still happily accept any pretext to tell themselves they can dispense with protection and plow away.

Straight men "think" being gay is just all about easy sex all day with hot guys and no worries and none of the hassles they deal with with women. There are other hassles they never deal with at all or only on the far fringes of their periphery-- like worrying about serious diseases, or needing protection almost all of the time in the "easy sex" they fantasize that gay guys have all the time. They also of course have utterly no frame of reference whatsoever to understand the social stigma or reaction to being a gay person, so they don't even factor that in when they make these kinds of stupid comments like how much "easier" it is to be a gay man.

Yes, and do you know what the most common reason for guys seeking medical care at the county clinic is? Sexually transmitted disease.

A guy who volunteered to help on my conservation project last year said he'd been treated for tree different infections in the preceding year.

And until recently, the gal living next door in her mom's house had three different kids from three different fathers, and was pissed at her current BF because he insisted on protection.
He, BTW, ditched her when he met her mother, who wasn't a whole lot different -- he told me "That family is crazy!"

I know all of this stuff happens; it's not like we DON'T see these things in big cities.

It's just not very often, outside of this discussion, that someone has the temerity to imply that being straight is far, far more difficult and inconvenient than being gay. Only straight people who see only an idealized "upside" of gay sex and deal with none of the actual consequences of being gay can think so. And it doesn't work as an explanation of why bisexual people would just live as an exclusive homosexual by habit.

If we fall back on tired bisexual cliche - the biggest annoyance about them is the "...men are for fucking women are for relationships..." bullshit that's trotted out time and again to "explain" their bisexuality. I've come across exactly one straight guy who expressed the "...gays are so lucky..." meme that we all toss about - and I banged him about 30 minutes later so we'll just have to take his opinion with a grain of salt.

Frankly I think this thread has wandered into argument for it's own sake territory, but nevertheless, I would have to agree that if there is any expedience going on in the sexuality of bisexuals, it's the one where they mostly seem to end up in hetero relationships.

I think we need to get some female nudes in here.

You're not speaking?

BTW who is that in your avatar?

^^ That's Nick Jonas.

So, have we figured out the definition of "is" yet? I haven't been keeping up with this soap opera, so I don't know who Dillan wound up choosing. Or if it wasn't Dillan at all, but rather his evil twin Willam, back from Italy!

Dammit, knew I should have dvr'd this...

Yeah, but the others are not as hot.

And all boobs are fake.

I guess we'll never know why is it that so many gays are pressured to live in the closet and fuck chicks, but bisexuals just choose dudes because it's so much easier...

Obviously gals are conniving sluts who want to trap them with bastard offspring...

You know, you jest, but this whole argument just really amuses me to no end, because that's simply not how sexuality works.

I like guys. I LOVE guys. I've been horny and fucked some pretty horrifying trolls. Not that I've regretted it necessarily, but I've definitely had encounters that ended with "why in the world would I do this guy..." Yet somehow bisexuals who are into twat, can totally just go "meh, that gal is gonna trap me with my bastard offspring, plus she's a slut, and sluts are no good. I'll just spend my life boning classy dudes off of craigslist".
