What Promise Did Trump Make to a Foreign Leader......

...I know American tax payers are paying through the nose for all of Trump's golf weekends, but are they also paying for all of the family's business expeditions around the world?
Why the Secret Service spent thousands at a Trump hotel [Politico]
Donald Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son, flew to Canada for one of his regular visits to the Yukon mountains to hunt stone sheep with friends. He was accompanied by Secret Service agents on that August 2017 trip, just as he had been since his father was sworn in as president six months earlier.

The Secret Service frequented several Vancouver hotels: Marriott Pinnacle Downtown Hotel, Pinnacle Hotel Vancouver Harbourfront and Lakeview Inn and Suites. But it spent the most money at the president’s hotel, the Trump International Hotel and Tower Vancouver, according to documents obtained by POLITICO.

The Secret Service is required to protect the president’s children, but the tendency of Trump and his family to funnel funds to their own properties has complicated what had been a routine practice. Critics say the Trumps are using the presidency to boost the president's businesses by forcing the federal government to spend taxpayer money at Trump properties.

That has been blatantly obvious. Even before the election, I said that Trump wouldn't do anything that didn't put money in his pockets. I didn't think that it would apply to his kids as well.

I think he's flailing, Erdogan probably told him he'd be a whiny bitch if he let Nancy push him around, then said a tough guy would do as he pleases, and please Mr. Tough guy let us murder the Kurds. Vladimir would love it, an early Valentine...

I guess plans for Trump Tower Kurdistan are off now?

:rotflmao: Hannity?

The same Trump fart sucker who gave us the Seth Rich nonsense? Do better.

The thing that is unclear from this whataboutism is exactly why getting paid a ridiculous amount of money to sit on a board is a scandal. If we're trying to make it so, there's a lot of politicians and politician's relatives who are in trouble. Hunter Biden has issues but they don't have much of anything to do with his father because Hunter Biden is not in business with this father.

On the other hand, if you're sitting on a board of a charity that is not spending money on charity, you just might be in trouble.

In the fable, Biden (Joe) got the prosecutor (the massively corrupt one) fired, to stop the investigation of the Oligarch (who paid the massively corrupt prosecutor for that favor) - in return for a job (why not take cash - stash it in Switzerland) for Biden (Hunter.)

Of course it's been investigated several times since the Right started peddling this fairy tale, and it's complete bullshit.

^ Are they still investigating "her emails"? Or are they still on that 'birther' thing?

Someone I can't remember announced a new inquiry into Hillary's emails about a week or so ago, but I'm not sure if there actually is an investigation at Justice, or if that is just something the Orange Horror was using in an attempt to distract,

Fox News: Document reveals Ukraine had already reopened probe of Hunter Biden-linked
firm months before Trump phone call.

Hmm.. Biden's son, Pelosi's son and Kerry's all sit on BOD of Ukrainian energy companies. What a coin-ci-dink. Does anyone know where Chelsea Clinton works?

So let's take a look at what really happened....

Guiliani's 'Fixers' have been arrested and charged with campaign finance violations after they were caught trying to leave the country with a one way ticket.

At nearly every step of Rudy Giuliani’s effort to get the Ukrainian government to investigate Trump’s political rivals, Giuliani has been accompanied by two men often described as his “fixers”: Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman.

But the latest dizzying twist in the unfolding Ukraine scandal is that Parnas and Fruman were arrested Wednesday evening — at Dulles Airport outside Washington, DC, as they were trying to leave the United States with one-way tickets — and charged with campaign finance law violations.

Always Turkey. Always Cyprus. Always Russia. Always Ukraine. Always countries that specialize in money-laundering for real estate and extractive natural resources companies.

Buckle your seatbelts and let's play follow the money.

What I hate most about the absurd, tangerine fat man, is that he wants to play international thug so badly he's trying to turn us into Turkey, Cyprus, Russia,or Ukraine. He wants to be in the clubhouse with the shady deal makers and influence peddlers, the crooks and thieves so very badly - thinking he's some kind of bad-ass, when really he's just a whiny, ridiculous poser being used by all of the worst the world has to offer.

It's pathetic.

And the sound of checks being written all over DC to get rid of dirty money...

McCarthy will return money donated by indicted associates of Giuliani [The Hill]
Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) will reportedly return campaign donations from two known associates of Rudy Giuliani who were arrested Thursday for violating campaign finance laws, Vice reported.

The House minority leader and the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) both received considerable donations from Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, a pair of Ukrainian American businessmen.

Trump of course claims he doesn't know them.

I imagine that Don Jr. will disavow knowing them too.

Interesting that Rudy was also about to fly over to Vienna a day after his two Russian mob henchmen but of course, on an entirely separate matter.

Giuliani, when confirming today that Parnas and Fruman were heading to Vienna on matters “related to their business,” told the Journal that he himself only had plans to meet with them when they returned to Washington. By this logic, Giuliani was also planning to fly to Vienna within roughly 24 hours of his business associates, but do no business with them while all three were there.

And Rudy's under investigation too, it's just come out!(damn, I wish I were comfortable linking, but I'm sure you guys will be on it asap!)
