What was the last play that you watched?

A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder

I will add this here, but I am pissed with myself. For only the second time since I have been going to plays I fell asleep. What I did see I loved though. The sets were amazing.

I saw Disney's Aladdin -

Musically not my favorite - but the sets, color and choreography were amazing.

Great entertainment.

You are so lucky! I am waiting for it to come to Portland.

Saw Hamilton last night. It was good, but not in my top 10. I like L-M M's In The Heights and Moana more.

Last night I saw the National Touring Production of Waitress the Musical. It was good. I enjoyed the show. The only downfall I have to say is that there are no memorable songs from the show.

A small independent production of "The Elephant Man".

Well done and I like they kept it scenery to a minimum.

"Love Never Dies" which is part two to Phantom of The Opera.

I honestly don't know what to say about it. It unseated my long time favorite to become my favorite play/musical. It was simply beautiful.

My top 5 are now:

Love Never Dies
Spring Awakening
The Secret Garden
Beauty and The Beast (Classic version)
Billy Elliott

Saw the national tour of “on your feet” in early June.

It was good but I felt it dragged a little.

Next up will be “boys in the band” on broadway

On Your Feet is part of my next years season.

I saw "On Your Feet" on Broadway when I was in NYC on vacation a few years ago. It was a great show and enjoyed it very much!

I saw Neil Simon's "Plaza Suite" at a community theater. It was good but not great. It filled my night and didn't cost too much and I enjoyed it, but I couldn't say that I would recommend it.

just came back from seeing 'The Bridges of Madison County' - really liked it. Saw 'Hamilton' at the Kennedy Center last Sunday - loved that !!

Just got back from Waitress. It was okay, but not my type of show.

I am not into love stories with cheating involved.

Just got back from On Your Feet! The Emilio & Gloria Estefan Broadway Musical.

It was okay. One of me least favorite shows I have seen. I feel it didn't work as a play and would have been better like the Billy Joel Musical Moving Out.

I just saw "This Much (or An Act of Violence Towards the Institution of Marriage)" by John Fitzpatrick at the Convergence-Continuum theater. This theater specializes in alternative/experimental theater works by living playwrights and new plays by local playwrights. The theater holds about 30 some seats and the stage is on the floor about 2 feet from the first row with up to only 2-4 rows. I enjoyed this play and there was even some brief views of two guys cocks. It's unlikely that this play will mainstream to bigger theaters, but I liked it.

Last Week I saw the National Touring Production of Phantom of the Opera. I really enjoyed the show! The music and the love story were great! I also enjoyed the special effects as well!
