What was the last play that you watched?

Last night I saw a one play "Wiesenthal." This was the second time seeing this play. I saw it a few years back. Great play! After the play there was a Q&A with the actor.

If this play comes to your city I highly recommend it!

Little Theater of Jamestown NY outstanding production of "To Kill a Mockingbird."

Saw Disney's Aladdin last night.

Greatly disappointed. They completely changed the story, cut characters, added characters, cut and changed the songs from the movies, added songs that didn't blend with the songs from the movie we all know and love, the actress playing Jasmine had a deeper voice than the guy playing Aladdin which was weird during "A Whole New World", and to top it off they added a couple scenes that lasted a long time that went nowhere just to make the play longer with the added characters no one cared about.

On the plus side the guy playing Genie was great and the costumes were outstanding.

Probably my least favorite Disney play, though one of my favorite Disney movies.

Last night I saw a local production of the musical, "Crazy For You." It was a really great show! Gershwin music and tap dancing, and also some comedy as well.

I saw The Pride by Alexi Kaye Campbell. It was about a gay couple in London in 1958 and in 2008. I enjoyed it even though I had trouble deciding which year they were in. This theater has chairs set up on the floor and on risers for 40 people. I like small theaters where you are no more than 4 rows back and you almost feel like they are putting on a play in your living room for you. You don't need binoculars to see from the last row like in some downtown theaters.

Last night I saw the National Touring Production of "Anastasia." The musical is based on the Disney animated movie, which I never saw.

The show was very good and I enjoyed it!

It was released under Fox, but yeah now it is "Disney".

I get to see it as part of my next season. Can't wait.

I'm sorry to say it was in Connecticut, so over two years ago. It was a sort of costume drama set in the roaring 20's, and a college production, very good.

I've looked for theater here, but so far it was just a lineup of sappy high school fare. The local NPR affiliate advertized a Shakespeare play at a community college in Decatur, but looking online, it looked like some junior high kids making it contemporary and minimalist. Not my thing.

Albuquerque had several very good production companies. And it had an independent cinema that would participate in the short film festivals. I think I'd have to go to Nashville or Atlanta now to get that.

I saw "Les Miserables" this week.

AMAZING production - the voices and orchestra - sets and lighting - the entire show was fantastic.

Just got back from School of Rock.

It was good, but I agree with my friend's son. Even though they said the kids where playing their own stuff, none of it looked like it or sounded like the sound was coming from them.

Just home from seeing Come From Away. It is one of the most funny and sad plays I have ever seen. I am not emotional in general, but I almost cried.

It is a telling of Canadians that took in 7,000 plane people and 19 animals on 9/11 while they were not allowed to enter the US. The story is told from the towns people's and the plane people's perspectives by a smallish cast that all play a few characters. It was truly beautifully done.

Please see Come From Away if you can. I think you will enjoy it.

The National Touring Production is coming here next season in Fr Lauderdale.

I will try my best! I missed out on this year's, "Dear Evan Hansen." It had such a short run because of the extended performances of Hamilton. I am disappointed I did not get to see it!

DVH is part of my next years season. I can't wait for it.

Do whatever you can to get tickets to Come From Away. I have not heard of anyone disliking it yet.
