What was the last play that you watched?

In 2 weeks I am going to see "Mama Mia" and I am looking forward to it. It is the farewell tour of the show.

Has anyone seen this show? What did you think of the show? I have seen the movie starring Meryl Streep and I like Abba's music and I enjoyed both.

I Saw it a few years ago on Thanksgiving. It was good, but not as good as I was lead to believe it would be.

psst - it's spelled 'Mamma Mia!' ;)

In the Heights (Spanish language version) (GALA Theater)

Saw An American in Paris tonight. One of the best shows I have ever seen. I loved it.

I know it is in my top 10, but it may be in my top 5. I have some thinking to do.

^ I forgot to say above that An American in Paris had the most captivating sets I have ever seen. It was beautiful really.

I saw Mamma Mia last night and thought the show was great! One of the best musicals I have seen. The movie was exactly like the movie version.

I heard that the original cast of the Mamma Mia movie is going to be in the sequel movie, which is coming out next summer. No word yet on what the plot is going to be. The music will also be different songs than the first movie. I just hope the sequel will live up to the first original movie. I hope they come up with a great story line.

Saw Cabaret tonight.

I loved it, but it had some bisexual stuff going on that I thought was going to go somewhere, but it didn't. I am not sure if that was in the original play or not.

I saw The Book of Mormon in London on Saturday. Fucking hilarious, I laughed all the way through.

That is actually one of my least favorites I have seen. It comes to Portland a lot though. It is an add on for my next season.

May I ask some of your other favorite, if you have any?

Saw The Bodyguard musical on Sunday. It was excellent! Well worth seeing!

Last night I saw "Saturday Night Fever, The Musical." What a great show! One of the best musicals I have seen! The music, singing, and the dancing were spectacular. The Bee Gees is one of the my favorite groups. I saw Barry Gibb a couple years ago in concert. It is very sad that he is the only living member of the group and the oldest brother.

The story follows exactly like the movie.

Last Saturday saw 'Frozen' (pre-Broadway engagement at the Denver Arts Center) - LOVED it - Disney has another Broadway hit on their hands!!

Lucky bastard!

Have you seen other Disney Broadway shows? If so how would you rate them?
