What was the last play that you watched?

Saw production of West Side Story at the local community college, terrific production.

I saw last night "The Music Man" starring Broadway star John Tartaglia. It was a local theatre.

The show was great and John was terrific as well as the rest of the cast including the children. The children in this production are so talented!

Last night I saw "Evita" at a local theatre starring Daniella Mass from "American's Got Talent" from 2015. Very talented and great singer!I have seen this show about 4 times. Great music and talent!

Last Thursday my friends and I saw Jesus Christ Superstar. It was our first in person play in over a year and a half and the first time we saw the one friend also in a year and a half.

As for the show, it was not my type. With that said even with a listening device I couldn't hear most of the show. What I could hear lead me to believe that all of the main actors had great voices, but I didn't feel that that type of music suit them.

My partner and I went with someone we used to be friends with to a college theater production of A Midsummer Nights Dream that was beyond spectacular. It was a minimalist production, no sets, just the people in costume, and seating on all sides of the "stage". They used a rolling scaffold that they moved from time to time as needed in case one character needed to be up higher, and allowed the play itself to shine instead of being outshone by pretty set decoration. Probably the best play I've ever attended, hands down.

Glad to hear this. I enjoy going to college plays and neighborhood theaters as well. They are usually good and are less expensive than downtown and with free parking too. They also have smaller theaters so you aren't sitting 40 rows back.

That was exactly what it was like. There were probably less than fifty people there to watch the entire play. And I think for all three of us it was less than thirty dollars for the tickets. I think, even with dinner, we spent less than seventy altogether.

Last night I went to the first live performance I have seen in almost 2 years - My Fair Lady.

The cast - the sets - costumes - choreography - all amazing.

Last night I saw the National Touring Production of "Come From Away."

It was an emotional great show! Being that it is a true story and it is about 9/11 makes it very emotional.

Saw a small production of Miracle on 34th Street put on by a church group that teaches kids acting and the tech side of theater. I have seen a few of their productions and this was not one of my favorites, but it was good.

Just got in from seeing a high school version of Elf: The Musical. It was okay, but doesn't work as a play at all.

I just got back from seeing Cabaret at a local theater. They did a good job and I was amazed that they had a 10 piece orchestra. It was supposed to be before Christmas and they had done the first two week ends before Christmas, but then some of the cast members got covid and they rescheduled the last week for this week.

Just got in from Anastasia: The Musical

9/10

It was great and all of the leads had great voices. My only issue was the Czar and Anastasia being black. They were both great, but it was odd for a few scenes for a few reasons.

A high school production of The Little Mermaid.

It was good, but they need a new sound system or something.

8/10

Last night I saw the National Touring Production of "Ain't Too Proud : The Life and Times of The Temptations." It was a great show along with great music. The story of their lives and loss was very sad.

The Original founding member is still around at 80 years old. He no longer performs with the group anymore. Overall according to the show, there have been 24 different members of the group.
