  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

What would be your dream job?

Oh i had another movie fix.

Remember the Sex and the City movie? Near the end when Samantha and Smith are breaking up and Smith says to Samantha: Well what will you find?

It would have been so funny if right as Smith said that...the camera cut to Samantha riding her neighbors dick lol.

Seriously they had been teasing it all movie long so it would make perfect sense for her to finally sex him up.

The only reason i think they didn't do that was it might have made it seem like Samantha never really loved Smith. I disagree though because Samantha never cheated.

So if i was on the set i would have suggested my idea to the director/writer and i know they would have went with it.

Or even in the DVD they could have had an alternate ending.

^

Wrong re-read the passage and try again.

But you did like my Sex and the City idea right?

I think it would have been really funny and not just because i thought of it.

I guess I'm too much the realist.

There are certain aspects of certain jobs that I think would be a lot of fun - playing that sold-out concert in front of thousands of screaming fans, say. But I'm too aware of all the crappy parts that go along with those jobs - the endless travel, the long boring autograph sessions, dealing with creepy fans, the stressful time in the studio. And I wouldn't want to slog through the crap to get to the good stuff. (A friend of mine pointed out, "Everyone wants to be a writer. Everybody wants to 'have written'. Very few people want to write.") Perhaps in a "dream" job you can ONLY have the good stuff - no one daydreams about the crappy parts - but I think that's why I've got the right job. I even like the crappy parts of mine.

And dig, why AREN'T you in the movies?

Lex

^^ yeah.. i think they didnt do that cuz they didnt want samantha to look like a crazy sex hoe

But she is or at least was. It would be in character because thats how she was on the show. She even said in the movie that the man was her 5 years ago.

And it was set up so perfectly. When i was in the theater i actually felt it coming when Smith said: And what will you find?

...i was just waiting for it and then nothing lol.

Ah well.

I think i would be a good actor.

I could also be a song writer.

Sometimes i feel my talents are being wasted.

Yes sometimes its about your connections. You have to know people to get your foot in the door. Its not always based on talent alone.

Or maybe i am just not driven enough.

Seriously.

You're Roger UK come back from the dead, right?

Clerk of the Privy Council, Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister, Secretary to the Cabinet, and Head of the Public Service (all one job in Canada).

But in all honesty, I'd settle for something slightly less senior... maybe Secretary to the Treasury Board or Chief Human Resources Officer for the Government of Canada.

lol

I would love to live on a tropical island, somewhere in the Carribean, and work remotely as a business consultant. Sit on my beachside condo terrace with a laptop. Work four-hour days in sandals. Not have to own a suit or a tie--or a snow shovel!

Something business related that would require me to travel all over the world first class and 5 star hotels.

I always see those business men who live out of a suitcase for most of the year. Yes its hard on their families but i find it a lil glamorous.

lol no battle here.

I just had to make him look foolish; talking about i am illiterate when it turns out that he was just ignorant to what wining was lol.

A person needs to be educated before they try an insult someone so as not to have it backfire on them.

No i am not a pilot; but i am in control of my cockpit and no amount of turbulence from certain JUBBERS is going to take Digicel airlines down.

That may be the case; but he should learn to pick his battles wisely.

In any event he showed his level of intelligence by not being able to figure out what "wine up" meant in the context of the entire post.

Nit picking at tiny things instead of taking it as a whole was his downfall.

He just quoted "wine up on me in the club" and goes on to call me illiterate lol

So it was my duty to shame him out of his ignorance.

Classic case of who laughs last laughs best.

I would love to teach Buddhism at a University level, or Japanese at a High School level.

Oh i would have liked to be a UN interpretor.

I have always been fascinated by languages.
