You are talking there of Andalusia, but since it's like one third of the whole area, and around 18% of the population, you may use it as a characterization of the Spain as a whole

That's why I only call whites "Hispanics." My brother's girlfriend is from Spain. Brown hair, blue eyes and she hates when Mexicans, Argentines and other Spanish speakers are called latino/a or Hispanic because they're not.

I told her I never met a white person with black hair sort of as a joke because a cuban friend of her's refers to herself as white. And then she went on this long tangent.

La Cubana now no longer goes as white. Homeland Security pulled her out from the line at the airport. She now knows what being a minority feels like. And denying your heritage only fools yourself.
