What's happening in England

Meanwhile, in Uxbridge an Afghani asylum seeker has killed one man and injured two others in another stabbing. He entered the UK in the back of a lorry in 2020 and this appears to be his thank you for being given leave to remain.

I think that Britain must be so incredibly fortunate to have so few actual murders and violent crimes that the only people committing them are a few auslanders.

I am indeed glad that in our country murder is uncommon enough to always make front page news.
The shreiking headlines create a distorted public image, which is what they are intended to do.
Our part of the city is the most multicultural part and the safest part.
Some people would prefer this not to be so.

Jaywick-sur-mer in Essex has maintained its streak. Perhaps king might consider rehousing Prince Andrew in Jaywick. It must be cheap and it would bring a touch of class to the area. Nigel Farridge is the local MP.

Actually it's not all that bad. Here's a tour.

The Chancellor of the Exchequer is in hot water for renting out her private house whilst she lives in official accommodation. Apparently she was required to obtain a "selective rental licence" before renting the place out, but did not do so. The Prime Minister says she has apologised and that that is the end of the matter. The press smells political blood.

Either way, she'd better watch out. The Prime Minister's private home was attacked by arsonists and the former Deputy Prime Minister's holiday home attracted the attention of graffiti artists not so long ago.

A train from Doncaster to London Kings Cross made an unscheduled stop at Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire last night because of a multiple stabbing incident on board. Ten people have been taken to hospital, nine with what have been described as life-threatening injuries. Two people have been arrested.

Some good news though in the crawl below the headline story.

However, these figures show knife crime is falling by 5% compared with the same period last year and 7% compared with five years ago. Homicides involving a knife also fell by nearly a fifth in the latest year to 196 offences, compared with 239 the year before.

And be thankful that guns aren't a thing in Britlandia.

Just a reminder ...

As well as burning the Pope and Guy Fawkes, in Lewes they also incinerate prominent hate figures who have been in the news during the past year. It's just a but of fun 😜. Their identities are kept secret until the night. You can watch it all live here:

/\ and his victims will be perfectly content knowing that they weren't shot.

His lawyer will witter on about his client's mental health and he will be shoved away in a mental hospital for a year or so.

If he does successfully play the nuts card, I think he'll get longer than a year or so. In the recent case from Nottingham, Valdo Calocane was convicted on three counts of manslaughter and three of attempted murder and was given an indefinite detention at a high-security hospital. I'd say ten attempted murders will get him 10 to 15 years.
