What? Me? Really?
Maybe that is a European thing with tight pants, but I haven't found that to be true here in the U.S.Heck, all pants are designed to "smush up" the manly bulge.
Lots of pants are loose fitting and present a flat front without smashing anything. The zipper and cover serve to somewhat obscure the potential VPL, but since few men are so well endowed that they bulge much when flaccid, it's not much of a thing to not see anything.
And, when older men begin to have enlarged scrotums from fluid accumulating there, their waists have generally grown too, so the drape of pants from the guts create a curtain of fabric far from being hugging to the crotch.
Neither khakis nor dress pants smash the bulge, but are simply loose enough to not reveal contours. And when men DO wear such tight pants, it very much looks like advertizing, as it is notably not a comfortable fashion.
