What's the greatest number of gay people you've been around?

Yes, it would be interesting to see how these mentioned numbers have changed since 2011.

Apparently, pride festivals are shrinking, and gay bars/clubs are fading into history. If that's true, then surely gay ghettos must be less significant as well.

We need to see an accurate timeline of gay rights and acceptance from January 2011 to today.

Halloween party at Theatron en Bogota. had to be like 5k the place is massive. was chest to face with so many cute sweaty latinos. I stood a foot above the crowd so it was a good view haha.

It would be either Portland, OR pride or Las Vegas, NV pride. Portland seemed bigger because their festival is shaped like a huge maple bar and they have a large parade. Las Vegas' pride was kind of a horseshoe shape with a large sitting area in the middle for watching the entertainment.

Well there is the gay pride parades in Montreal, but also I would say any given Friday or Saturday night there would have to be close to 10 000 in the gay village.

So, just wondering. How many gay people have you been around at one time? What was the place or the event that brought everyone together?

The gaggle I was around was back in 2008 in Oklahoma City, OKLA. I was at an area (or maybe it's called a district) known for a bunch gay bars in one area as well as at least one gay owned "resort" hotel with it's own bars, restaurant, and sex related retail store. It was very crowded everywhere including the swimming pool.

In its heyday London Gay Pride got 300 000 on the march, that is actualy marching. Adding on spectators, security and cashers-in etc took it close to the million, not all gay of course. These days the numbers are much lower, possibly because I stopped going, more likely because so little of the event is now gay and so much is just advertising.

I've been to Pride events in a few different cities... with those events ranging in size from a few dozen people to multi thousands...

I've been to gay bars on the evening before pride and they were heaving. I think that must be the most. I don't enjoy crowds and stay away from pride itself as it's far too manic.
