  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

What's your BMI?

ya know... screw this.

I'M FAT....

and done...

... freakin skinny ass people! EAT SOMETHING! :p

6'3", 198lbs. So 24.75. But really, even weight can be deceptive (see ShihTzu's measurements, above).

Important thing is that I feel healthy and look good (at least when body size is concerned).

I'm at 22.31.

I literally never exercise. I eat about a normal amount. I'm afraid that once I mature a little and my metabolism slows down I'll just become fat as hell like my dad. Maybe I can change my diet. I do like my food, but exercise is something I just HATE. Cardio makes me want to rip my face and lungs out and then wash my insides out with ice water... I hate it so much I don't even know how to describe it properly.

Maybe I could join a community soccer team... I always did love it (as long as I could play defense so I wouldn't have to run the WHOLE time. :P)

Maybe you could just 'do' a community football team, thereby burning up quite a few calories. I've seen this done on some films and it looks like quite a lot of fun. Sometimes football clubs put up signs and ad's when looking for new members - and let's face it, advertising for new members is as obvious as they can be...|

31.... apparently I'm obese... I don't feel obese....

At the same time I'd probably be classified as a cub... and my boyfriend, who is larger than me, would definitely be a bear... so really it doesn't come as much of a shock. We like to eat. Live happy.

You have a BMI of 21.02.

I hate these things and most "weight/calorie/health counters" on the web since they never tell me what the gym tells me. The trainer at the gym told me something much lower

About 26.5...

...I have grown a little bit of a paunch in the last 2 years and I'm just too damn lazy to do anything about it. :P

24.96, I'm 47.

And yes, due to injury I have NOT worked out at all in a year.

But I'm getting back into it. Carefully. ..|

My BMI is 18.97. That's great. ^.^ But I have heard BMI isn't the best thing to rely on....

As mentioned above, the problem with BMI is that it only accounts for weight and height. Which is obviously very flawed. So according to BMI being muscular=overweight. Body fat percentage is much better judge.

Mine is still the same. I'm 6'2 and weight 175.

BMI 16.31 You'll have to eat twice a week and have your stomach stapled to get my numbers.

That's really low, darling. Have you been to a doctor?
All the doctors and nutritionists I've ever seen claim that I'm perfectly healthy and just naturally slim. That's why this BMI thing is an outdated method that well trained doctors do not bother with.

It's always amusing to see how often people dismiss the BMI scale even though it is accurate for nearly 97% of the populace at large.

I have a BMI of 23. And yes I work out every day usually. Sorry, but BMI doesn't lie.
