what's your favorite type of soup?

My honey who is a amazing cook makes a Chicken Tortilla soup

and a Chicken Enchilada soup that is to die for.....

I just made my self hungery---

My favorite soups are asian noodle soups especially Vietnamese beef or chicken "Pho" noodle soup! Pronounced "fuh" btw.

I love eating and making soups. Making it from scratch is the only way to control the amount of salt you get in it too.
My favourites, in no particular order are:
Lobster (or Crab) Bisque
Clam Chowder, both Manhattan and New England
Cream of Morel (damn they're expensive) of Wild Mushroom
Chicken Corn Chowder
Curried Pear (piping hot or chilled)

Here's a "how to" video to make the cheddar cheese and beer soup from "Canada" in Disney's Epcot.

It is SO good ! I've had at least a dozen bowls of the stuff over the years.

(I wouldn't mind getting to know the chef a little better as well... )
