What's Your Weather Like?

Summer is stubbornly holding on here in South Florida. We only got a glancing blow from Helene, just a few squalls and occasional blustery winds. Thursday was just like a normal day, with services running as usual, and me doing my regular shopping. It is 81 degrees right now, and very humid, 91% humidity with a dew point of 78. It will be very hot again, with a high of 93 F, heat index of 108.

The forecast for England this morning was somewhat alarming, with winds of 13,530 mph.

50F clear blue skies with a light breeze. Expected high of 76F

Freezing and and stiff as a board with the rheumatism.

It hit 80F today, breaking record highs all over the area. Normal high is 56.

After a very long and hot summer, fall has arrived. It is only 73F at 2PM instead of 115.

A skiff of snow this morning, and -1° currently. Overnight low of -5°. No wind to speak of really, 7 km/h is pretty blustery for this town.

Stop it.

We are downwind.

Today though, it is cooling but still about 15C.

Expecting an existential blackness to descend at any moment based on what is happening south of the border.

Overcast and breezy, 80 degrees F 27 degrees C-- overnight temperatures unheard of in November. Humidity 85%, dew point 75 degrees F 24 degrees C, heat index 85 degrees F 29 degrees C. We're getting occasional spitting rain, but overall not too much. Hurricane Rafael is nearby in the Gulf, but not coming this way, fortunately. High today 84, it was 87 yesterday. Oh, but climate change is a hoax.

South Salt Lake, Utah, USA.

37°F, 2°C, SNOW SHOWERS!!!
Snow due to end at 1:45pm.

I fly out of SLC tomorrow. The weather should be fine.
