Got my first dose already. Sore arm for a few days, no other side effects.

For the people who are "concerned" about what "unexpected" side-effects there might be...

Every ingredient in all of the vaccines currently being rolled out has been given to patients for well over 40 to 60 years. There's nothing really new in it.

I received my first shot of the vaccine today and it went very smoothly. My county does by appointment only. Volusia County which is just north of us is doing first come first serve and people are waiting in line 24 hours in advance. My second shot will be on Feb. 2.

Happy you were able to get it. Let us know if everything goes ok and if you have any after effects. Can't wait to get mine but I think I'll have to wait 2 months yet before I'm eligible.

It has been 24 hours and no problems not even any pain where they gave me the shot.

Here in Florida the Governor has ordered it to be given to those 65 years and up,

I tried to get out of having vaccinations when I was a kid. When I was 13, they were having TB vaccinations in school. I found the idea of having needles stuck in my arm to be rather unappealing, and didn't mention about it to parents. They were rather annoyed when they found out, so I ended up having to get it the following year.

I'm kinda surprised that for my age group (65 and older) we should be able to get the vaccine starting Feb 1 (statewide). What hasn't been released yet is how you get in line for one of them.

nope, I'm fine with waiting at least a year to take it. don't understand why anyone would take it immediately unless your job requires.

just lol @ the toxic mentality of some in the thread, it's like "if you don't agree you're an idiot and you should be shamed". Being skeptical doesn't make you an "anti vaccer".

Supposedly I can get my shot starting on January 25th. Not sure where or how yet.

Just got the Moderna Vaccine on the 12th; so far I feel fine. Did a 1000 cal workout tonight; we’ll see if I can do the same over the next 5 days...they ask you to sign up for this symptoms monitoring service ran by the CDC. They check up on you Via text daily.

Best of luck to you!

My understanding is that they intend to track everyone as part of the ongoing studies. These are experimental vaccines, not yet approved. The FDA has granted emergency use. Everyone is essentially signing up for an experiment. Aside from the general fact that it's new and in development, the mRNA technology in particular is new and involves many unknowns. The adverse reaction rate is currently higher than the risk of dying from the virus. There has been some discussion of certain potential risks I won't go into here; it's related to why the SARS-CoV-1 vaccines failed.

I received my second shot of the Mederma vaccine yesterday. On e less thing I have to worry about. I had no issues with the first shot and do not expect any problems with the second.

Got on the list just yesterday.
There were already 200 on the wait list.

I just registered today on two different lists and will probably go with the first one to call me. I know that there are several thousand ahead of me on each list.

Yes?
No?
Ill wait to see how others respond to it?

Can not believe over 22 % said they will decide later like they are going to be poisoned. The Virologists all ove rthe world that worked on this vaccine knew what they were doing . Take it or spread ther illness becuase you will not be protected!
