Which Club Is Going To Win The Premiership This Season?

^ I always had a strange feeling that you might have been a fan of his.

Wonder what gave me that idea?...:p

Wonder no more Tribi.

Droghba has said he wants to surpass the Chelsea goal-scoring record set by Jimmy Greaves in the 1960-61 season. Not a chance. But it shows how much respect JG is given by the best players of the present day.

It's gonna be some w/end: Liverpool v Chelsea; Arsenal v ManUtd.

If Chelsea win and ManUtd lose, the Premiership will be up for grabs. Can't wait.

Who would believe the 2 top teams losing this w/end? But at least the Premiership is still open and up for grabs.

Performance of the weekend: Middlesboro' thrashing Bolton.:=D: :=D: :=D:

Damn right! I was there! Wooo!!!!

Haha chant of the weekend "Let's all laugh at fat sam, lets all laugh at fat sam, la la la la, la la la la..." And repeat. Entire north stand were singing that.

Mind you, Bolton aren't well supported on the road. There was only a couple of hundred fans there... Y'reckon they couldn't be arsed, or that they're scared of the town? After all, anyone who drives here is risking their car radio.

FA Cup this weekend. All the clubs involved are hoping to win the first FA Cup final at the new Wembley Stadium. See:

http://www.wembleystadium.com/

The first club to win an FA Cup final at the old stadium - 1923 - were Bolton, who beat WHam 2-0 in a final that has entered football folklore. And Bolton are about to kick off v Arsenal...

I'm rooting for the boro, but we're making hard work of it! Games against much smaller clubs in cups are making us stumble. Drew to hull, only just beat them in the replay... drew to bristol at the first go at it... in the league cup, got knocked out by Notts county...

Mind you, apparently this Dong-Gook Lee is tall, fast, good on the ball, good at holding up, can hit the target, a bit of an icon in S.Korea, and absolutely gobsmackingly awesome at Ping Pong.

OMG bolton were so close aswell, wat a stoopid mistake 2 make 2 let in a goal like that, from a set peice aswell tut tut, really wanted them 2 beat arsenal (moi is a Man U fan so u understand why hehe)

im hoping Man U win atleast the league, an either the FA Cup or Champs League this season, cant have the Scous Scum or MoneyBags FC win it!

Liverpool won last nite. Good result for Boro' v Portsmouth too.

Chelsea and ManUtd both play at home tonite, with Chelsea having the trickier game v Blackburn. Would love to see Watford win at OT.:-)

But the game of the day for me is at the Emirates "oils well that ends well" Stadium, between Arsenal and Spurs in the Carling Cup. Should be a real cracker..|

Aye, Boro aren't doing so badly now :) Took on bolton who were fifth, and demolished them, and then drew away to portsmouth... I bet the odds were well against us there. I've gotta say, southgate for prem Manager of the Month? We've not lost in January, and our two worst results were in the FA cup - drew to Hull and Bristol.

So both Chelsea and ManUtd won last nite. No change at the top of the Premiership.

Could this change this w/end? Chelsea have what looks like an easy game @ Charlton. ManUtd visit my team, THFC, on Sunday. Spurs v ManUtd games are usually compelling viewing. And after last nite's defeat at Arsenal, Spurs will be looking to restore some pride. ..|

And on top of that there is the Merseyside derby. And the visit of Arsenal to the Riverside. Hope no one in the Boro' side gets sick just before the game, as Aaron Lennon did just before the game last nite v Arsenal. Germ warfare?

Unless they crock Woodgate, they'll be having a harder game than they expect. He's the most intelligent defender in the premiership, I'd say. He's always in the right place... No better defender to watch and learn from. He's like an English Cannavaro, but who keeps getting injured. I can see why Real bought him in the first place. I just wish Steve and Gareth would've shelled out and got him in the window, rather than waiting.

I really wish he'd be given the captaincy. Boateng's lost a lot of form this year, and to be honest, I think that's the burden of him having to make decisions. Last year he was completely independent, and charged around helping every boro player on the pitch. Now he's being too sedate. Woodgate would make a fantastic captain, he appears to know everything that's going on, five minutes before it happens. If we gave him the captaincy, it'd maybe help convince him to stay. After all, captaining your favourite club... There's nothing quite like it, and I think he'd consider it worth staying for.

I wonder if we'll play Dong-Gook Lee, in this game. I hope so, it's exciting making new signings!

COME ON BORO!!!

still 0-0, already had 1 good result today with Everton drawing at Liverpool woooooo

Chelski still won though :( we defo need 2 win tommorow now!

YEAAAAAAAAAAA Sendoros just got sent off hehehehehehehe
an Boro scored the penalty woooooooooo

Well, it's all set up for tomorrow's Spurs-ManUtd match.

Berbatov and Lennon could figure in the game...| But it's in defence Spurs are weak. Ledley King is sorely missed. And if Rooney, Ronaldo and Giggs are on form - which they have been recently - Spurs could be in for torrid time.

All the domestic staff at the greaves residence in West London have been given a half day off, with the promise, that if Spurs win, they will not be expected to work on Feb 29th.;)

One thing's for sure: it won't be a 0-0 draw.:D

Hmm, 1-1 against Arsenal... that'll do me fine. If Boro can keep this sort of form up over the rest of the season, we'll be in the top half of the table, luck permitting. Considering the truly terrible position we were in a while back... I think Boro are virtually safe now, and at the start of the season I'd have taken that. Southgate's just getting better all the time, as he masters his trade.

And he's chopped away some of McClaren's deadwood. Maccarone, Doriva, Parlour, Mendieta, Hasselbaink, Ehiogu... All the aging big earning disappointments are out!

greaves - come on, dont forget Ronaldo, hes on top form as of late, Aaron Lennon aint got SHIT on Ronaldo :p
an lets just hope the none 0-0 tie goes to Man U, although i do hav some doubts about this game for some reason, which isnt a good sign #-o

i was well happy about the 1-1 result with Boro and Arsenal, i think boro played really well, the defence was really solid, just as ud expect with the likes of Woodgate in there, but ofcourse Henry is Henry, an well u cant not expect him to score with the chance he got, but i think 1-1 was fair enough. Boro hav defo done good as the season has gone on, an i wudnt doubt them for a UEFA cup spot still, they've defo got the quality, with the likes of Viduka and Yakubu upfront, an Malcom Christie is coming back aswell. Although i do have my doubts about George Boetang, i think its time for him to go now, need to replace him, defo not an out an out captain, but jus my toughts anyway, wot do u think Jacobim?

On paper it looks like a thrashing, as ManU beat Spurs 4-0 at WHL.

But what turned this game in Utd's favour was a totally incompetent referee and a blatent piece of cheating by Ronaldo.

Ronaldo is despised by most real football fans across the country, and they have made that clear at every away game Utd have played this season. He showed why today.

And why is such an incompetent referee - this is the guy who "did not see" the ball go a yard+ over the line in the ManUtd-Spurs game 2 years ago - given charge of such an important game.? You can draw your own conclusions...

Which is why ManUtd are as heartily despised by real football fans as Ronaldo is.

This game wasn't a thrashing. It was a mockery of what football is meant to be about.:(
