Who doesn't know Abercrombie & Fitch here?

Doug Jeffries, A&F CEO. I think his pic speaks for itself.

I really don't know what to say about this picture... but he's very unattractive.

I can't believe he had the nerve to discriminate against blacks, and not allow them to work there (only at the back of the store). Because they didn't fit the so called "image". There was a lawsuit about this.. I forgot the outcome... I will do some research.

I will admit I did go in there once, and purchased a few things... I will never go back.

I believe what I have heard that they are one and the same.

To tell the truth they sell the same style clothing, but I have no idea if they are owned by the same people. I like Hollister's shirts much more though and their clothing seems to be well made. Hollister also has more reasonable prices, although I don't know how it compares to American Eagle. For some reason American Eagle's stuff doesn't fit me right across the chest, but maybe thats changed since the last time I went in there was like 2 years ago.

My boyfriend works at A&F, which is how I met him lol. I do a good amount of my shopping there, as well as at Hollister. It's good for the "everyday" look for when I go to class, etc. When I need to dress it up a bit, I'll wear clothes I got at a department store.

Anyways, the quality of the clothes is pretty good at A&F, at least the shirts, jeans, and pants I've gotten from there have outlasted the ones I've gotten at AE, GAP, etc. If anything, their jeans are some of the best made products I've purchased, for I've had a pair from there that's over 8 years old. I don't like how all the new jeans are pre-punched with holes though.

The reason Hollister's clothes are cheaper is because their target market is high school students. So it cracks me up when 25+ year olds are wearing their clothes. I even make fun of college students that wear Hollister clothes. I guess the term for this is "grow-up" lmao.

It goes like this...

abercrombie kids - middle schoolers
Hollister - High School
Abercrombie & Fitch - College
Ruehl - Post-graduate

Sans hollister, the other 3 basically carry the same type of clothes. I actually walked into Ruehl the otherday for s&g and bought a blue sweater that was sold out at A&F (no employee discount though :(). It's pretty much the same stuff as A&F just a freakin bulldog on the clothes instead of a moose. A moose is obviously much sexier than a bulldog.

call me obsessed with A&F idc. I had to do case study on the company for a finance class which in turn made me want to get a job there (and now want to quit it lol).

Paul is right though. Despite the clothes appearing all tattered and what not, they are actually well made.

P.S. Sorry for the edit but the reason most of the people work there is for the discount.

I like Abercrombie, but they're WAY expensive; my bestfriend bought me a sweater from that was $198 -- I made her return it and get me something cheaper because that's just ridiculous. it was cashmere though ...

I shop at A&E too -- and I only shop at Hollister Co. once and a while ... way too many teenagers lol.

@onecouturefuck

Lead the way. What should we be wearing?

^ These are so true and are really hilarious.

Ike has been a favorite actor on the show for a long time and this one is especially nice to see more of him.

Re: Abercrombie & Fitch New Flagship in Paris

This is one of the lamest clothing brands in the world! There's no design or style whatsover, just super bland and boring outfits with "abercrombie & fitched" stitched, embroidered and printed on the fabric a hundred different ways and yet gay boys love it! The reason why they also use topless guys for their marketing is because they know that the clothes themselves have no design to them and not worth showing and they are banking on the gay guys to buy all their shitty sweatshirts but the gay market is only 10% at the most so that's why their sales are dismal. I would think that at some point people are going figure out that this brand offers nothing but overpriced boring clothes with no design season after season. I'm actually surprised that it's still around and not out of business already.

If they were there all the time, I'd have one reason to visit France.

I agree with you, doetim. But 10-12 years ago you could by something from A&F without having its logo visible. I still have some cargo shorts well over 10 years-old. The quality was there back in the day. Today, not so much.

^ "Your age and younger" ?

Who died and put you in charge?

:p

;)

Abercrombie & Bitch is comfy heavy cotton oversized wear around the house on a cold winter's day clothing and nothing else
