Why am i only attracted to white men?

I have friends who are the same.

I'm attracted to various, white, black latino etc.
 
I'm white and typically I'm attracted to white guys, or Israeli type of skin tone/features. Also I've seen tons of hot Lebanese type guys. Typically though I'm also not attracted to black men, but I don't really question it. That's the way it is. We're all different.
 
I find I prefer black , latinos, and irishmen/englishmen...HA

they are all three tones but those are the men I like...

I like the way black men's skin feels to the touch and I like the sensuality of their movements. they seem most aware of their bodies. those deep chocolate eyes are really hot...like lucky7's HEHE

It's fine (I guess) for people to have their [STRIKE]bigotries[/STRIKE]....errr....'preferences'....but some things should be kept to oneself and not said out loud. You don't say out loud that you aren't attracted to a fundamental and innate human characteristic of other people. It's disrespectful and tactless.
 
well i can say this

I prefer what I listed above, and I described them in positive ways...

I have been attracted to men of all backrounds, but those are MUCH less frequent. I don't shut anyone out... I am just aware of who gets more of my sexual attention, so to speak

You're too easily offended. Take a deep breath. People have preferences and tastes and tend to have a "type" etc. Don't get your shit in a knot over it. That's the way it is and simply acknowledging that those preferences exist shouldn't be offensive. I'm well aware that I'm not attractive to every type of guy out there - why should i be offended by that? Sheesh. Some of you guys seem like you NEED to get pissed off over things.

as i said, i think its ok to have preferneces in ethnicity, but i also think its important to be respectful and stay open-minded. statements like "no asians/blacks/whatever" are the opposite of both.

Saying you're not sexually attracted to a race is not racism. So yeah, calm down.
 
Racism is feeling superior to another race or thinking their genetic traits are in some way inferior to others.

There's no rationality behind what we find attractive - it's that x factor that can't be explained. However racism is a rational choice. My simply saying that I typically don't find black men sexually attractive does in no way indicate I have negative feelings towards blacks as a race.

Also, look up racism on wikipedia and tell me where the section is that explains how you're racist unless you're sexually attracted equally to every race there is.

Which is a racist viewpoint. Sorry. Some erroneously tend to think of racism as hatred, but it is not. "Closet racists," who are perfectly nice, reasonable people who are nice to all humans, decide that they don't HATE other races, and this gives them justification to pretend they are not racist. But racism is, among other things, the belief that people should be treated in ways based on the color of their skin. You expressed this belief, which makes you a racist. You may not "hate" other colors, but you place so much emphasis on race that you have placed a blanket conclusion on all black men and cannot condone intimately fraternizing with them, and this is a racist viewpoint.

But...again...you're perfectly entitled to that viewpoint. What makes you a jerk is having the tactlessness to say it out loud. For example: if I wasn't attracted to guys under 5'10, I wouldn't voice it -- especially if there was a guy in the crowd who was 5'6. Only an asshole would not see how rude that shit is. If a guy who was 5'6 (BTW, I don't have a height preference...this is just an example) approached me, I would simply say that I wasn't interested and keep my reasons why to myself.

No one is forcing you, or even telling you, to bed a black man. People are going to feel how they feel, and do as they do. But I'm not going to pretend that your statement wasn't small-minded. As perfectly entitled as you are to not be attracted to Black men, I'm as entitled to write you off as a bigot for saying it.
