Yes, they behaved in a juvenile manner as well, no argument. But the House was able to continue it's business as was scheduled. And they didn't go jetting off to the South of France to avoid being hauled back into session by the Sergeant at Arms.
It's a weak comparison, but I guess it's the best you could come up with.
The bill in question is five pages long. How long do these imbeciles need to wade through that? It's not like it's War and Peace. Here it his, tell me how long it takes you.

Apparently many of the teachers are too "sick" to come to work, but well enough to protest. Schools in major cities are closed for a third day, now. How many moms and dads have had to take off to watch their kids, do you suppose? Think that's going to win many friends?
They absolutely have a right to protest. They can bemoan the fact that they (teachers) don't have to pay a dime towards their pensions and health care costs and shouldn't be made to. Wisconsin is facing a multi-billion dollar shortfall. Think that the average working stiff with maybe a 401K and paying several thousand or more per year for insurance is going to be very supportive of this bunch?
We'll see how this plays out. I predict the 14 cowards will return from Illinois and be forced to read all 5 pages of this ponderous, incomprehensible bill. Then it will pass and be signed by the governor. Then we'll get to do this all over again in another state in the coming weeks.
You see it going differently?
