Gee, I didn't know there was a stigma attached to masturbation. Gotta hand it to ya, Fucker29; you taught me something.

Where do you think the social stigma towards masturbation, and other sexual activities, started? That's right...with good ole Jebbus.

LOL! Like I give a shit.

It's quite simple...don't like it, don't come into the thread.

Of course not. Yet, always complaining about the respect Gays don't receive, but with the same breath would participate in the mocking of a religion, as if you're any better. Don't give a shit, and I'll come to any thread I damn well please. If you think you can argue me down, than try. Otherwise, I'll state how I feel wether or not you give a damn, because to me you simply don't matter, but I won't sit by and let a religion or any element that should at least be respected out of differences of opinion and tolerance, because it's this kind of attitude that participates in the discrimination and bigotry of homosexuality, and any matter that ever served as any point of contention between humanity because people simply can't respect each other.

Well, freedom of speech means that people can start this sort of thread...

and that those people that hold Jesus sacred can spend millions of dollars trying to limit the rights of gay people in this country

funny how those things seem to be unrelated...

And with that argument you blanket every hateful, incendiary remarks ever made by any one toward another group just because they can. Be a little more creative than that, can you? Just because you have a right to speak it, does that mean you should? Think. And not all Christians think the same, and believe the same way. Even you have to be a little more broad minded than that.

I am a lot more broad minded than that

I am broad minded enough to know that satire is a great way to deal with issues that affect all of us.

I am broad minded enough that a joke about religion does not mean that everyone hates religion.

I am broad minded enough to appreciate humor, and even a barb, and not jump on a soap box every chance I have to chastise people.

and please, do not put me on a category, when you know nothing about me, or my beliefs, or my life...

and I'll try really really hard to not think of you as a humorless blow hard just based on a few posts....

Lowlife.

You don't see me trying to take away their rights, do you? They're free to preach on their beliefs just as I'm free to give my opinion on them and yes, make fun of it.
And I didn't say you couldn't state how you feel...I simply commented on something you've said, not trying to shut you up.
It was suggestion...I do it myself a lot of times...if a thread doesn't interested me at all, I'll skip over it.

Anyway...you're a good example of why it's so much fun to make fun of it. Individuals sometimes don't have a sense of humor but groups...they NEVER do.
And the fact you've resorted to name calling so quickly is highly hypocritical of you...just sayin'.

Satirization doesn't turn mocking performances into avenues of profanity. Asking wether or not you would have sex with Jesus is not satire, where in that case the humor would be justifiable as an attack to improve upon the current conditions of Christianity's slim minority of homosexual intolerance adherents. This is not witty or intelligent, and doesn't even target those who hold such views, rather than target a figure important to all Christians, many of whom wish to see gay rights realized. Do you think that these people would view it that way? Religion to decent, honest people is not a joking matter, these are the same people who fall into that category of liberal Christians who do not oppose gay rights. If standing on a soap box is what is needed to help people realized that this kind of behavior is negative and undeserving, than I'll stand tall. As for your life, views, beliefs - I think I'm beginning to get a perspective. You put yourself in whatever category you think I put you in.

You don't see me trying to take away their rights, do you? They're free to preach on their beliefs just as I'm free to give my opinion on them and yes, make fun of it.

First, I will say I am sorry about the insult. I was angered over your complete disregard for my argument. I have since deleted it from my post. Why would you consider it ok to make fun of a religion, in a way that doesn't even serve to correct other's view of how they use it to perceive homosexuals? It does interest me, because I don't believe letting mockery of a religion important to so many people have its fun, because its not decent and breeds behavior that you as a gay, nay above all as a person, should work to defeat.

Whatever, have you're fun. I just think it's sad. I wish people could respect other people boundaries, and leave what is important and sacred to them alone, especially those who believe in it for good, and not tainted even more by people, after it's already suffered much at the hands of bigoted, hateful abusers of the religion they happen to share. Because its not right we can take these things so lightly and with such disregard.

I can make fun of everything...tabus aren't really my thing. To me, everything's on the table...weither it's religion, sex, politics, social issues, whatever...everything.
I'm not, and never was, a religious person but I do respect other people's beliefs...I couldn't care less if someone believes in Alah, God, Budha or any other sort of divine being. I don't believe in a higher power but I perfectly accept and respect that other people believe in them just as I expect the same courtesy back...that they respect I don't believe in a higher power.
While I do respect and accept that they believe in whatever they believe in, that doesn't stop me from having a sense of humor, wich can be pretty crude at times and may not be for everyone's taste and that's fine with me...people are different and like different things.

Why does one make fun of such a thing? Easy. Because, as I said before, groups have absolutely no sense of humor and are extremely uptight, wich is precisely why it's fun to make fun of them. And considering how most christians, and the church itself, don't really practice most of what Jesus preached, revealing their hypocrisy, that makes it even more fun and relevant. It's about breaking the tabus and provocation (as humor often is used for).
And what we're paroding here isn't people's beliefs per se but rather the tabu surrounding Jesus and what the tabu says about you not being allowed to talk "inappropriately" about him. It's saying "no need to take it hardcore seriously, chill a bit".

You think because I joke about stuff that I don't take them seriously? It's quite the opposite. For instance, I joke about cancer, the chemiotherapy, the loss of hair and weight...well, I had cancer and went through all of that...do you not think I take it seriously? I do, wich is why I joke about it.

And that whole "respect other people's boundaries" is bullshit and here's why. If that was true then why should we fight for gay rights? Why was the slavery put an end to? Why did the black community fight for their rights then? If you don't push boundaries, things won't ever change...you'd just conform to "the way things are". Provocation IS necessary, otherwise, there'd be no evolution. It's impossible to live life without stepping on someone else's shoes...but that's how we all grow.
Think of your life. If you hadn't faced obstacles in your life, if you didn't have your boundaries pushed you wouldn't be the person you are now.
This same process applies to what we're discussing as well and many other things in life.

Well, would you?

If Jesus came back to life or if you could travel to the past and Jesus offered to have sex with you, would you?

No, simply because I wouldn't want to piss his father off. I hear he can get pretty angry. :grrr:

I'd fuck Jim Caviezel.

Even as an agnostic/borderline atheist I find some of the responses on this thread repulsive.

I'm sure a number of you are the same PC losers that run to the defense of the Muslims any time someone attacks their faith.

What ever happened to "live and let live"?

^ I don't think a miracle child can be conceived in the normal way. You still have to carry them around for 9 months but you don't get any of the sex.

You can't fuck a figment of the imagination...unfortunately :(

Well, would you?

If Jesus came back to life or if you could travel to the past and Jesus offered to have sex with you, would you?

And would you top or bottom?

I kinda like Israeli men. Don't forget, they're cut.
And I don't like to pre-set my encounters...
