YAY Baseball!!!!!!!

The Marlins were the opponent June 5, for Pride Night at the Milwaukee Brewers. I was there. The Marlins looked mighty good...Anderson hit a GRAND SLAM and Miami won, 8-3. I wonder how they can be a last-place team when they looked SO good against a playoff contender.

That's great you attended the Brewers-Marlins game! Yes, Brian Anderson is a good player. I watched that game on Fox Sports Florida. The issue with the Marlins is their bullpen, and yes offense. The Marlins do have an excellent pitching staff-Caleb Smith, Sandy Alcantara (he pitched in the All Star Game last night), Jose Urena, Pablo Lopez, Jordan Yamamoto, and others currently in the minors. When the Marlins get some good hitters to complement Brian Anderson, and Garrett Cooper, the Marlins will be a team to watch.

Which ironically, was only 10 years before this thread was started, and it was started 12 years ago.

That's ok by me. The threads started yesterday aren't getting any responses.

Blue Jays fan since game 1 in 1977.

Alas, this is going to be a long year. At least there are fun kids to watch tho, e.g., Vladdy Jr.

Hope springs eternal.

Yes, Vladdy Jr. Almost won the HR hitting contest on Monday! I attended a few Blue Jays games at Exhibition Stadium. Saw Ernie Whitt, Dave Stieb, John Mayberry, Rico Carty, Jim Clancy play for the Blue Jays.
