Instead of a boycott, I would suggest they work on the individual store owners. And stock holders (if it's publicly traded).

This tactic worked well with Cracker Barrel. A demand from their stock holders is what made them change their ways. In my opinion boycotts rarely work.

What the fuck is a Chickfilla?

A big cock?

Is that what they're going for here?

Hopefully this will help drive their sales into the toilet and they'll go bankrupt.

How many outlets do they have?

I'm so sorry to hear this. I've liked Chick-fil-A's policy of closing Sundays; that's a family value I can appreciate.

They've been growing in my home area (greater Philadelphia), opening several new free-standing restaurants. They're already in every area mall.

ya know, they are tasty but there's absolutely no variety. except for in the sauce department. This is just another disappointment from a meh quality establishment.

They can take their chicken and shove it up their collective bigoted corporate ass! This company deserves to go bankrupt for all their fundamentalist hate-filled bullshit!

Which is just silly.

A lot of us actually want to eat out on a Sunday and not everyone is Christian...
Other people value their Fridays and Saturdays but you don't see the world closing.

this is something i eat at least twice a week... but fuck them if they will see another dime of my fucking money until they get on their knees..... and apologize

lol, good one.

Exactly. If you're religious and can't drink or whatever on Sunday, then don't drink on Sunday. But don't prevent everyone else from drinking because you'll feel left out; that's god testing your faith.

Well..... not opening on Sunday is not for the customers .. They do that so it's possible for these workers who want to go to church to be able to without the risk of losing their jobs.

I've never tried Chik-Fil-A but people tell me it's positively delicious.... I think I'd like to try it sometime.

I've also never been one for boycotts because it's not like you're donating free funds to them... you're getting something out of the bargain as well. It's also to say different owners of each restaurant will have differing views on same sex couples... It's not fair for a local business to lose out on customers just because owners at the corporate level have a certain opinion that's "anti-gay".

Nice that you put quotes as if this is some kind of phoney issue.
Their policy IS anti-gay, not "anti-gay." :slap:

I'll never understand gay Republicans.

Funny thing though... I'm not a Republican. I just don't get as militant and offended when people assert their opinions. Now albeit their opinions showcase their very sad and extreme lack of understanding concerning homosexual relationships, getting upset and boycotting local level stores for statements that an executive makes at a corporate level is not going to change anything. This type of activism is never a solution from any logical equality standpoint. My quotations were not intended to denote any sort of sarcastic twinge, only a reiteration of the issue at hand.

We don't have these resturants but I've heard of them -- They can go fuck themselves too - (along with Cracker Barrel) what do they think they have to gain by verbalizing their prejuduce?

and gee wiz "bented" -- you know that's not what HBB meant __ gays- no matter what their politics put everything in "quotes" -- or "air quotes" of course !! so what ......

EDIT: HBB beat me to it - I was writing this while he was responding..... ****reminds self to put EVERYTHING in quotes "from now on" !!!******

They can have an opinion, but when they are spending the money they make to support causes that are destructive to the the rights of gay people, it's time to stop doing business with them.

ive been fighting with 3 people over the last 30min on their facebook page... go and read peoples posting, they are hilarious

This isn't surprising to me. They are closely associated to the Southern Baptist. We all know their opinion of us.

Not surprising. I thought the manager at the local Chic-fil-A in the mall I work at was a little too stingy with my sweet tea refill.
