2011 JUB Meet - Portland, Oregon - August 5-7

Hey, attendees and potential attendees, I was surprised to discover one of my Facebook friends did not know that OREGON HAS NO SALES TAX on any goods or services.

I'd suggest all you out-of-state visitors plan on some serious shopping while in Portland!
 
I just heard from jump-start, who wanted to attend, that he will be attending a wedding in the Midwest the weekend of our Portland Meet.

If I am available i.e. not working or have sufficient funds...I'll be there...I'm not from Portland but live in Washington...Ptown is only 4 hours away from me....will come if I can!

I am looking forward to meeting all of you this summer! My last visit to Portland was quite a long time ago and I didn’t really get a chance to see all the sights. The Event Schedule offers lots of opportunities to get to know the city. And sharing the experience with fellow Jubbers will guarantee a fun time. (UU)

Below is a siggie file we can use to promote the event – This one is sized to work for everyone, regardless of supporter status.

Copy the image (above^) by right clicking and then choose copy file. Paste the file somewhere on your computer, such as the desktop.

Navigate to “Edit Signature” in your JUB Control Panel. Then click the button labeled “Choose File” in the box titled “Signature Picture.” This will prompt you to locate the file on your computer. When you select the file, it will automatically upload the image as your new siggie.

Because the siggie is designed to be clickable, it won’t work unless you also type the following vB code into the “Edit Signature” box above where you uploaded the image.

I looked at their menu and noticed the "special" had an EGG in addition to the burger...

I've never heard of that -- and cannot quite figure out mentally if it would be good or not... :lol:

But -- yeah -- there are a LOT of AWESOME places to eat in Portland!!! ..|

The "special" is the only way to go. All their burgers are good but the "special" is awesome. The egg sounds kinda gross at first but it actually makes the burger. You must try it. :D
