American Idol: Season 10

So glad Stefano made it, he did very well tonight and hope he does well in the competition. This years top 13 has some really Strong girls though

I really like Stefano....I think he proved himself tonight as a strong vocalist.

But I'm gonna be bitching about Kendra not making it all season...just to warn y'all...haha
 
It feels like the judges just picked their favorites. Randy-Ashton, JLo-Stefano, Steven-Naima. They announced that person as being picked as a wildcard and they announced the same person as being in the top 13 and it always felt like they favored them a lot.

All 3 girls are way better than Haley and Karen though. Karen was not that great and I was suprised Randy didn't say it failed poorly compared to the original which he said to a lot of other contestants. I never liked Haley's singing and it seems like she gets worse everytime I hear her sing. Probably the least talented female in the top 24.

I also like all 3 guys better than all the guys who were already in the top 10. All 6 wildcards should be in the top 13. I think this top 13 sucks compared to other years.
 
Winner Predictions

1. Lauren Alaina
2. Pia Toscano
3. Scott McCreery
4. Casey Abrams

I can't imagine anyone else winning which sucks because other than Pia, I don't really care for watching them. Lauren and Scott have huge advantages having the south backing them. They take the show so seriously down there and have their whole families voting. Sort of like a lot of sports fans think they win if their state's sport team wins for some reason they think the same thing about Idol contestants.
 
I hope to God that Scott McCreery doesn't win. I can't stand his voice. It's so country generic.

Casey I think is very good. I wonder if he would connect with teh public as a recording artist. Sometimes talented people just do not connect... Taylor Hicks was actually very good.

I was sorry to see Jovanny leave, but at least I still have Stefano.
 
I was glad to see Jovanny and Robbie leave. Didn't think that they were good enough to write home about. Think that this top 13 is great...as far as the guys go. Not too crazy about the girls this year, just the same old cookie cutter singer right now. No one is really popping out to me.

i interpreted the title of this thread differently. i would love to see, on national live tv, steven tyler and ryan seacrest rip each other's clothes off and go at it, no holes barred.

Scotty would be terrific if he were 35 instead of 17. To have that kind of voice at his age is unusual, but to be constantly imitating the mannerisms of singers twice his age is disturbing to say the least. He's going to have to young it up if he wants to win. And don't think we didn't notice that gigantic crucifix around his neck...
 
I would say most of everyone I predicted made it into the top 10, except Haley- I thought Ashton had it down, based on her performance the night before, and Paul MacDonald- I love this guy but I didn't think he was necessarily American Idol material, you know?

I'm torn about Tim Halperin. I by chance came across some songs of his on youtube and so far, I've fallen in love with all of them. Kind of a singer-songwriter vibe with infectious hooks. By far he was my favourite contestant from this year. But then again, my most favourite American Idol contestants all never made it into the final- Josaiah Leming- either season 7 or 8, really talented guy. I've been following his career and even now he still has some solid stuffs. And Alex Lambert. He should have won last season's American Idol. The materials that he composed is way stronger than Lee or Crystal's.

At least we have Stefano to keep me happy. He's so HOT!!!!

My top 3 predictions are Casey, Lauren and Pia. With Casey taking the title. First 3 to be eliminated: Haley, Jacob and Karen. I love Jacob and his performance of God Bless the Child will no doubt be one of the best performances on AI, but how many over-the-top, screaming performances can you take? Wait, hold that thought. Adam Lambert made it to second place didn't he...

HA! Yes! I kept thinking, "Wow they're totally the new Adam Lambert and Kris Allen." Think about it. A tall scream-rocker and a short adorable guy who are roommates and are totally cute with their bromance.

LOL. Personally I think Kris and Adam are both attractive. I dunno about Durbin though. he's not good enough for my Stefano. However, if he was making eyes at Jovany, I'd support that.

Did you also notice how J-Lo is getting pretty moist over Stefano too?

Yeah Adam and Kris were BOTH hot. Durbin could be hot but he needs to grow some self-awareness and shake off the somewhat douchey personality. You and I might have to vote like beasts online to keep Stefano in the competition (he could be in trouble even though he's a better singer than half the people there).

And yes J-Lo totally has the hots for Stefano and btw how HOT has she been to watch this season? Thank god they added her! If I have to look at Randy Jackson and Mokey from Fraggle Rock, it's good to have J-Lo's gorgeousness to balance it out.
 
^Seriously. I have never voted for idol in my life. But I think I might have to start for my boo. Lol. I can't believe he didnt get more votes. I think b/c he's more of an exotic looking hot guy not the all-american, beiberesque hair sorta guy like Tim Urban.

We're on the same page with J-Lo too. Ordinarily I would be annoyed with all the judge grandstanding they do since she came aboard. But I suddenly found myself looking forward to how hot she's gonna look every night. And she never disappoints.

Stephen can be a little annoying at times. But I like how he seems to really connect with the contestants in his weird way. Randy is just annoying and useless. And Ryan thinks he's the star of the show now, even though he's useless also.

Gosh I do hope he's the kind that, in 1 or 2 more episodes into the season shitloads of his shirtless pic will make its way on the internet. Like our Tim from last season.

Well I think Ashthon or Karen are going....Ashthon was just boring again and Karen was just all out horrible...I don't know what was up with her tonight

Casey was my number one with Pia and Paul rounding out the top 3

Scottie, James, Lauren and Stefano were all good as well

Thia, Hayley, Jacob and Nayima did not impress but weren't the worst

I'm definitely gonna be voting crazy to keep him in the competition. I want to see Stefano on my tv every week through may, already used my 50 online votes. Time for my phone calls lol
 
Stefano needs to be my bf. IMO he's the hottest idol guy ever. Plus I loved his little Stevie Wonder dance mix..
