No surprise that Phil and Chris got the boot...too bad, I rather liked Chris. :(

Loved Blake's performance. :mrgreen:

Robin Thicke...ugh! He has got to be the worst singer I've ever heard! :twisted:

Though I've always wanted Melinda to win (no one this year has even come close to her vocal skill), Blake and Jordin have the strongest and youngest fanbases (and will get the Phil and Chris voters, if they continue to vote.) Lakisha has a very small fanbase compared to those left. So I think Lakisha goes next, then Melinda. Whether Blake or Jordin wins is a toss-up, but Jordin will get a lot of the Lakisha/Melinda voters, when they leave.

LOL.. and you like Chris R.and Blake performing?? Talk about taste in music. Those two "try" to sing R&B but fail horribly... Robin Thicke is probably on a few select white guys who can sing R&B well.

Do you even listen to real R&B type music?.. Robin Thicke has a very very good voice. He isn't #1 on the R&B charts for nothing..

This has ended up being a really great 'Idol' for me...

After a *really* shaky start, (to say the least) the final six were, for me,
the most entertaining finalists ever on this show.

Any one of them could have won and I would have been happy.

I kinda figured Chris would go, but Phil was a bit of a surprise.

At this point, who knows ? Lakisha and Melinda may end up 'cancelling each other out) somewhat unfairly, and it might actually come down to Blake and
Ms. Sparks. (Have we mentioned she's 17 ??? ;) )

I dunno, for sheer 'ballsiness' I gotta hand it to Blake... I LUV the whole 'computer-assisted beat box thing' and it took a LOT of guts to do that,
(plus....yeah, OK...he's darned cute....)

But really, at this point it doesn't matter WHO wins..... Keep in mind Bucky Covingtons' new CD, "I'm Simple Minded" just entered the country charts at #6.

I've seen your interactions with other posters in this thread...seems like you want to instigate something....I'm not going to go there though so you can just move on to the next guy.

I was going to let this pass.. but you have to add the roll eyes smiley at the end. Which means you want to debate.

You made a point to criticize him.. and I made it a point to "correct you" and give my opinion. When you praise an amateur who "attempts" to sing R&B or whatever the hell is trying to sing, but fails. But you have no problem criticizing Robin Thicke who is only a select few of white guys who actually can sing that type of music successfully. I have to address this outrage...

OH PLEASE.......vote for the worst is a fluke and it gets more credit than it deserves, if you visit the vote for the worst message board on their site the majority of the people on there are genuine Sanjaya fans and voted for him because they liked him.

5th place is not spectacular and neither really was that season.

It's not like any of them are the 'worst' now. I mean all four of them have stuck out the most since the top 24. I wouldn't mind any of them winning because I bet they will all have success.

Last I saw FAFU had a website promoting a yet to be released self-produced album. I think that was over a year ago.

I went to Border's the other day and the new TIME (actually, im not sure which one it is, but that pops up in my mind, I'll have to re-check) magazine had up-to-date info on all the Idol's past and present. It was actually quite interesting but not worth the 12 dollars.

The most it said about Scott was that he got married (to an actually decent looking girl) and that he was working on an album.
