Here's the order that I want them to rank on the show:
1. Jordin
2. Blake
3. Melinda
4. Chris
5. Phil
6. Lakisha

Your list is actually quite good, except for the number 1, 2, and 3 spots. Melinda should be number 1 or 2 depending on the situation. Blake is a 3rd place bet though.. although Phil could get that spot due to his country roots, and the conservatives who watch the show looking to support a person who is in the Army. Phil appeals to the Republican viewers of the show, and could go very very far. So I wouldn't put him that low on the list based on that..

But your list is good though.

That list isn't my favorite to least favorite but it's what I think would play out good for this season and the contestants careers. If Jordin wins, she'll be a successful idol winner instead of a fading winner. If Blake and Chris don't win then they get creative control over the sound of their music. If Melinda and Lakisha don't win, they get to sing gospel like they want to. People would freak out if Phil wins. The only reason why I want Chris 4th instead of 1st is because it's best for his career. People will believe he deserves it. If he beat Jordin, Blake and Melinda, people will hate him just because they thought those 3 deserved to be the top 3 this season.

Did I mention in my post that it was your favorite?? I stated that it was a great list. READ THE POST, don't assume.

Bottom line... no one in this group is going to have the success of previous Idols, like Carrie, Jennifer Hudson, Chris Daughtery(when I first saw him..I knew he would be instant success), Kelly Clarkson. I don't see the IT factor in most of them. Although Jordin does have the potential. Of course some may surprise me in the future though...

Blake can have success behind the scenes.. because I think he would be a great producer.

The show owes Jordin such a huge apology for that unwarranted overhyped piece of shit drama - the most shocking elimination ever bullshit.

Something tells me that they knew. Did you guys see the way Chris smirked the evil smirk when he was told that he was safe? Not that he was smiling for Jordan to be leaving, but more like 'hehehe.. we all got ya.'

So, why did Jordan cry? Well, perhaps she really thought it might not be true that all of them were safe, and that there was a cruel joke to leave her still standing.

And yeah, she would get a lot of vote next week, because text-ers would be all supporting her.

Btw, I shed tears shamelessly for the kids.

Josh Groban was good. Celine and Elvis were good. Carrie was good.

For those who have raised the issue: it was reported yesterday that Simon made a "substantial" six figure contribution to the fund. I'm sure Randy, Paula and Ryan have also made substantial contributions, but they're not as rich as Simon. If they announced their contributions, lots of people who have questioned them about it would then say how tacky and self-serving it was for them to announce how much they gave.

So you have already made it clear at this point who your favorites are in this contest.. so why did you have to point that out to me??

I didn't see Phil's performance, but from the "review clip" it didn't look fantastic.

Jordin was shaky tonight. I'm worried she may go home, even after the stunt American Idol pulled last week.

Lakisha attempted to save herself after her last two banal performances. Her outfit however...that red stripe was NOT helping her, and Ryan made her look more stupid by sitting down while she was standing.

Blake was on his game! I loved his performance. It was an exciting twist on a very traditional Bon Jovi song. NICE.

Chris paled in comparison following Blake. It felt like a standard performance of "Dead or Alive." Nothing exciting to it.

Melinda made me proud of her tonight. She opened up in her performance. It's always a joy to hear her perform.

I thought tonight's show was really good actually. A good change from the cheese fest last week.

Phil sang well tonight, but I cannot get into him at all. If he is going for the country thing, he doesn't really need that show. The country circuit will accept any newcomer and pretty much guaranties a gold recored. I hope he goes tomorrow.

Jordin did okay tonight. I thought she would be kinda good with the rock thing because she was awesome when she rocked 'Heartbreaker' in the semi-finals. But her verses were very wobbly and weak. She only sounded good when she belted. But she's definitely safe.

I don't know why the judges praised Lakisha so much tonight. I didn't think her performance was good at all. The song choice and her singing was bad. She sounded very monotone and boring. It's her time to go.

Blake wins the cookie for most entertaining tonight. The most unique performance ever on idol. He pulled out the beatbox in full force tonight and when he actually stopped to sing he sounded good for the most part. I agree with Simon though, people are gonna love it and people are gonna hate it. More people will love it though.

Chris was just straight up sexy tonight. His song choice was a big risk, but I love how he knew that and basically said "Someone just has to do 'Wanted' on Bon Jovi night, and if I have to take the bash for it, so be it!" I thought he did well, I didn't know he could sing like that. Very raspy and hoarse, but strong which suited the song. I'm worried for him though, I really hope he can make it into the top 4. If he can make it that far I will be satisfied.

Melinda did really well with rock which was a surprise. She definitely knows how to work the stage and the song. She isn't going anywhere. Oh yeah, she also had a song that featured the cowbell.....I Gotta have more cowbell baby!!!

Well, she show was really good tonight and I was happy until the fucking Bush's invaded my screen. They just killed it, I literally groaned when the popped up.

Top 3: Malinda, Jordin, Blake
Bottom 3: Lakisha, Phil, Chris......I hope Lakisha and Phil go home, but they are all at risk.

What were some highlights? Did Lakisha and Melinda perform well as usual?

Btw, I don't think that any of the guys left are very talented besides Phil. He's not bad. Otherwise, I hope a girl wins this year. I'd even be happy if Jordin won!
