Crystal and Lee in the finals?? I am SO SHOCKED!!! Who ever would have seen that coming???!!!
 
how HORRIBLE was that Travis Garland guy....ugh....I can't believe Perez is bashing so much on Christina Aguilera's new stuff and thinks that THIS guy with THIS song is the next big thing.....no thank you
 
I kinda like the Travis Garland song. It was catchy, and he is a little cutie too. Turns out that he used to be in a boyband called, NLT. Also, the guy that plays Artie in Glee was in the band too.

Shocking? Which one(s) shocked you? I think Lee & Crystal deserve to be where they are. . . of all the contestants this year. I don't think, though, that either has the broad appeal nor unique attributes to reach "super-stardom." I mean, we already have a Melissa Ethridge and a Bruce Springstein.

For raw vocal talent, Adam Lambert, Chris Allen, David Archuleta and David Cook have Crystal and Lee both beat. Artistry (and originality!), Adam Lambert and David Cook have 'em both beat. They'll both sell a few records, but five years from now I think most people will say "who?"

Beyond all that, I think it's Lee for the big prize. Tonight could change that, but I don't think so.

For sex appeal, thought, Casey James and Tim Urban were the winners this year. <drool>
 
Well after tomorrow night's show, I won't be watching this anymore...unless there is a really really really good singer on it next year. But I will fast forward through all the judges comments since I really don't care what Randy, Ellen, and Kara think.

I can kinda see Crystal making it big if she goes the country route, she has that twang. No way I would buy any of Lee's music.
 
Lee didn't seem to want it bad enough. Crystal is clearly the better performer, but Lee might win. If she doesn't win it was her confidence tonight that did her in.
 
Crystal won tonight....Lee was only good on The Boxer.

Apparently Cyrstal and Lee got to pick their winner singles.....as good as Crystal was on "Up To the Mountain"...Patty Griffin isn't really a great mainstream artist for your first single.

according to rumors....Janet Jackson, Carrie Underwood, Kris Allen, Christina Aguilera, Enrique Iglesias, Hall & Oates and the Bee Gees will all be performing on the show

Lee and Crystal will be performing with Joe Cocker

and Paula will be making an appearance(live or taped...not sure) to say goodbye to Simon

Haha I dunno, the only shock in that show is the big f-u the judges gave to every dancer except the winner.


As for tonight...I thought they might try to go out of the season with a bang but I guess I should have known better. Unfortunately one of them does have to win, but I can't say I care which.
 
^^ You should youtube Crystal's performances, Salemite. Especially her absolutely stunning rendition of "Up to the Mountain."

Crystal was SO MUCH BETTER than Lee tonight, it's not even funny. Lee winning over her tomorrow would be a joke.
 
I'm going to be sad when Crystal loses what she certainly deserves to win. Dialidol has her well behind Lee and I believe them. Stupid teenage girls.
