You must not be familiar with Sean Cody. Those videos are always ass-centric. If a video does have any cocksucking (it's not unusual for them to have none), then it is very brief. Well, the nuns taught me that all things are good in moderation and that everything is permissible, but not everything is beneficial--I'm inartfully reaching for a discussion about race (I'm an American and brown, my preoccupation is inescapable) and age as they relate to MSM sexuality. I think the average gay man, in my country, perceives beauty as something pretty heavily tied to whiteness and youth. I'm not naive I realize that this way of attaching value to sexual capital is male not specifically homosexual, but it seems to produce less carnage among straight people than it does among queer folk. I'm wondering if the porn we consume is a cause or an effect here.

Good. porn was my salvation. Porn was what showed me that there were gay men out there and I wasn't crazy.

and that gay sex wasn't something you did shamefully in secret while drunk but something you could do with gusto... something you could and SHOULD enjoy. That gay man were... hot. That gay sex was OK.

Gay porn was why I knew I was going to be ok.

I think my experience of porn was something like this at say 15-16. At 25 and quite married, I'm ambivalent about it in a meta way, though still a frequent a joyous consumer of it.

Honestly I often feel the same. It's a job and part of my life but it's not the center of it.
 
I think porn is fine in moderation but the problem is, too many people get addicted to it, and too many people are introduced to sex through porn and end up believing that's what sex is really like.
