no... actually that isnt true... alot of them just went gold...

Sorry, but I'm quite sure she's had platinum albums.

They didn't have the platinum designation when she started recording, but almost all of her albums have sold over a million copies.

I'll tell ya, I really like 'Wet'. Aside from the Donna Summer duet "Enough is Enough" which really isn't aging that well, I really enjoy that album.

The CD really needs to be remastered, though, the analog hiss roars like no body's business.

Same for 'The Broadway Album' as well. Babs tackling some of the greatest songs ever written, (with mixed results...I'm sure that heavy handed synth on 'Somewhere' seemed like a good idea in the 80's, but David Foster, honey...back off a little)

Either way, why it wasn't digitally mastered is beyond me.

I don't know all of her albums but I have Guilty and think that it's amazing. What a beautiful voice. I miss the days when the women who got radio play could actually sing.

"The Broadway Album" and "Yentl" are my favourites, but the first album I ever got was "One Voice", so it will always have a special place in my musical heart. But every album is great, isn't it?
