Big Brother 17 is coming in just 13 days.

One neck of the three headed monster is just LYING THERE ON THE BLOCK waiting to be chopped off and if Johnny Mac and Steve don't take that opportunity, can fans stop calling them great players already?

These people are getting on my last nerve. Do they lack the gene for self-preservation?

Any other season and the twins would have been everyone's target from the moment they were introduced into the house.

The big players in this season were voted out long ago. What we're left with is Vanessa and she is being handed everything on a silver platter by working with everyone in the house other than James/Meg and half of that looks to be out of her way on Thursday.

Steve just wants everyone else to do the dirty work and leave him alone until the finals and so far it has worked.
Jmac doesn't have a clue as to what he is doing, that was obvious in his interview with Julie Chen.

Not only is it FUCKING OBVIOUS that John/Steve should take out Julia because Austwins are a threesome alliance, but consider this: if Julia goes and JM/Steve join with James/Meg that means for the next HOH, Vanessa can't play and it will just be Austin and Liz against FOUR people, three of whom have won comps before. Those are great odds. One of JM/Steve/James (I'm not even going to pretend Meg has a chance to win HOH) could easily win and take out Liz or Austin next, thereby leaving JM/Steve in a dominant position at F5 with Vanessa (which means they'd only have to compete against James). In other words, taking out Julia gives them the numbers advantage to eliminate Austin/Liz next and then they still have Vanessa to help them take out James and Meg.

This is really a no brainer.

Apparently awesome BB women don't just fight each other in the house. Janelle is throwing down with Jun on Twitter.

Every year there is talk of Dr. Will and Jun. I really need to take the time and watch their season on youtube.

In better news: The house guests are practicing some "crapshoot" contraption in the backyard which is obviously for the HOH competition. Apparently, Meg was doing poorly in the practice (Vanessa thinks she is faking it) and the Austwins are killing it. Steve witnessed this and is approaching Jmac with the question of perhaps flipping the vote to get out JULIA!

As we all know, this will flip and flop in the next 24 hours but here's to hoping.

5:20 PM Steve is talking to himself in the HOH room. He's thinking about voting Julia out. -

I recently watched BB2 for the first time, and I'd recommend checking it out, especially if you're into the whole low-budget 2000-late reality TV aesthetic. Dr. Will's legacy has been overblown with time but he still played a good game and was an interesting character.

Jun is brought up so much every year mostly because Sgt Pepper and I are rabid fans tho, let's be real.

(That's not to say Jun didn't play a fantastic game. She was one of the rare BB players, and the even rarer BB woman, who was completely unfazed by the idea of allying with people she hated if it would get her ahead in the game, and by being willing to switch allegiances between the two warring sides of the house that year, she perfected a legit "floater" strategy, which was far from the "irrelevant piece of flotsam who gets dragged far because they're worthless in comps/strategically" definition "floater" has warped into today. It's just that BB2 had a fantastic cast and narrative, while BB4's supporting cast, i.e. everyone outside of Jun and Alison, was pretty worthless.)

I just tried to watch an episode of BB4. Omg that house. It's so... sideways. And dull. I can stand the cheese to be honest. It's so retro.

On a side note, here are some nice fun screen caps of Clay Honeybutt that are totally drool worthy:

From Jokers less than 1 hour ago:

No one posted maybe 15 minutes ago Steve went up to HOH, where JMac is listening to music. They question each other about -jube Less...
evicting Julia. Steve wants to talk later, but JMac says that Austin will be watching them scamper. Both say they are on the fence about Meg vs Julia. Neither mentions them talking earlier with Vanessa. They both seem to be looking for the other to take the lead in making the decision. Finally, Steve says he thinks it is too risky. JMac admits it is risky. Steve repeats that it is too risky. It appears they are (yet again) nixing the idea. Steve hurries back down to the kitchen, JMac ducks back into the music.

These guys need to grow a pair.

Jun is one of my all-time faves as well. An essential quality for me to be considered one of my favorites is that you have to get that you're playing a game, and comport yourself accordingly. These aren't your lifelong friends, they're your competitors. If you're in the house to make friends and not to win a half million dollars, you shouldn't be in the house, you should be in therapy to figure out why your life sucks so bad that you have to go on a reality show in order to make friends.

Jun is one of those players that never lost sight of why she was there in the first place. She never let emotions, feelings, or relationships distract her from her goal of winning.

I still think that season had the best overall eye-candy too. I remember lusting after three or four hot guys in that cast.

And Jun knows this. Not about us, I mean she knows that she's not famous or popular in the way Dr Will, or Janelle are to average viewers. One of her best qualities is that Jun actually is self-aware and while she's confident in herself and the fantastic game she played, she doesn't pretend that she was beloved. In fact just recently she tweeted about a blog reporting her fight with Janelle and Jun said, "People are probably like, Who's Jun?"

Steve and JMac are idiots. HOW is it too risky?? Taking out Julia is fucking obvious and it would mean only Austin and Liz competing in the next HOH against JMac/Steve/James (especially if they go to James and make a deal to save Meg). They would have a good chance of winning the next HOH and then say taking out Austin next, thereby totally decimating that alliance and putting themselves in the dominant position for the endgame with James/Meg on one side and Vanessa/Austin on the other.

Not only is this a classic example of Steve and JM not really being as smart or as good at the game as fans pretend they are, but it is also classic Survivor/BB mistake of failing to calculate the inherent risk in NOT making a move at the right time (players often only see risks in making moves). For example: not taking out Julia means you go into Final 7 with a THREE PERSON ALLIANCE in tact, including siblings and a showmance in there and all three of them can play for the next HOH. That would pit JM/Steve/James against the Austwins with Vanessa easily coasting in the middle. And if they don't make a deal with James and he gets HOH, he's going after Vanessa, who could be an ally of Steve/JM. Basically you're creating a situation in which the Austwins easily make it through next week and then you're at F6 where HALF of that group is in an alliance that doesn't include you.

JUST VOTE HER THE FUCK OUT, YOU IDIOTS.

James and Meg's exit interviews show they haven't a clue, and neither does John or Steve. Pathetic voting. Just pathetic and dumb.

I wouldn't know. I FF'd when they opened their mouths.

Hopefully the twins own Jmac and Steve's dumb asses right out of the house now.

Steve won HOH which means...J Mac can still go home because they're idiots.

I have no choice now. I have to root for Vanessa.
