I believe the man whore comment is not the amount of men Kevin sleeps with, it is the fact he treats them like dirt/ the only thing he does with them is sleep with them. He is emotionally unavailable till recently, he didn't want a relationship.

i hate to be shallow but i think kevin is not attractive. everyone else is pretty good-looking, even the mom. kevin looks like a 50-year old corpse. i just don't see chad being that attracted to him from seeing him at the gym and admiring his body, he's not even in great shape!. i know people are gonna say i'm wrong it's not about looks. but his personality sucks as well. he could at least make up for it in looks.

I like that she's that way, I just hate that it means once everyone hates her we wont have a reason to see her as much (see: Holy) because the characters can't stand to be around her.

And how great was that final scene. I almost felt bad for Joe, even though he was an active participant in what happened. Not quite as much as Becks but still...

That's so weird. I was wondering the same thing! I really liked the coat he put on before telling Kevin about the Joe/Rebecca drama and was wondering where he got it from.

So Rebecca is evil. I went into this episode predicting that, but that whole confrontation with Holly kinda threw me off for a second. It turns out Holly had Rebecca figured out from the beginning.

The Kitty storyline was devastating.

Another Tommy-less eppy. I won't complain.

I didn't have a problem with Kevin in this episode. I laughed at the George Clooney joke. When is he going to get another stab at wooing the senator's brother?

Did anyone see next weeks previews? Nora getting ready to throw a cake and saying "Oh Holly" LOL. I can't wait to see how that all works out.

Random Thoughts

Well Brothers & Sisters is really gunning for Best Drama series in September.

Last night was VERY good.

I'm a little not happy that they turned Beccs into seductive bitch. But i guess i saw it coming.

I so wanted Holly to slap Becs across the face after she called he mother a whore? what a bitch i could never imagine saying such a thing. I'm pissed the writers didn't let Holly slap her for that comment. That was wrong.

I like that Holly knew that Beccs tried to seduce Joe, before it was revealed how it really went down.

The scenes with Nora and her professor reminded me of when i was in College and i had an affair with my lecturer (28 at the time) and he gave me a C for my final grade and i went to him to ask him what the hell and he pulled the same stunt with me. Needless to say it was later changed to an A which i deserved.


Joe shouldn't have kissed Becs but she is a little temptress. And she is just playing the family. Nora doesn't have a clue.

Joe was such an ass during the first confrontation with Sarah. I mean i have to watch that scene again because i don;t know how Joe was able to turn it around on Sarah. Thats classic. He is an ass, i don't like him.

Maybe they consider it to be a "family" show, no pun intended. Based on what we saw of the rest of Mr. Pyper-Ferguson, though, I'm sorry we didn't get to see more.

I'm very disappointed in the treatment of Joe. I thought he was supposed to be the nice guy neglected by his workaholic bitchy wife. An affair with an adult I'd understand, but a 20-year-old sister-in-law? That's kind of low.

It is interesting how the writers have handled this I think. In most shows the mistress ( Holly ) would have been made to cause the trouble and muck up the husbands ( her boyfriend's ) family with the affair, but instead they do an about face and make the 'seed' of that affair ( Rebecca ) the bad girl and the cause of friction between the family and NOT the mistress herself. Although it is probably done hundreds of times on daytime soaps, I have to say this sounds like the writers are making it quite unpredictable in the beginning by making the kids hate the mistress, and sneak in the real enemy, aka her daughter and their half sister, under the radar and into the family so she can start tearing them apart.
I wonder though how it will play out from here. Will Rebecca still be playing little miss nice while sabotaging the family from the inside out, or will the clan ban together and do something about her ? And if so, wouldnt this is turn somehow make Nora and Holly closer together, as I recall Holly wanted to be friends with Nora but Nora turned her down, but was slowly coming to terms with Holly as a person and not as 'the other woman'.

Kitty's Boss- Rob LOWE has been hot since he was in the Brat-Pack - 20 years ago. Jason is quite a hottie - I agree - When the show started - I thought, gee they got a real gay guy to play Kevin - but apparently he's a really good actor or something - because he's supposed to be str8. Balthazar is indeed easy on the eyes.-- oh, yeah, and Holly -- (forget her name) - her husband is a producer of the show or something -- they were on "Thirty Something" many many years ago but married to other people in that show -- her real life hubby is quite a hottie too ! (or was) havent seen pics of him for years.

When thirtysomething was on, I was in love (and lust) with Michael/Ken Olin. Then I saw his picture a few weeks ago. He's really gained weight and looked older than he should (at least for an actor.) I think Patty Wettig is a fantastic actress. She stole every scene she was in on thirtysomething.
