It is not within the power of the current Queen of England to decide who suceeds her. Therefore, she cannot skip Charles and declare that William will be the next King. I hope you fine British people will all give Camilla a chance, after all we are not talking about the dreaded Wallis Simpson. Being an American, but having 60% British DNA, I do support the monarchy, even though my opinion holds no value.

The United Kingdom is a constitutional monarchy with parliament sovereign in all matters.

Parliament can amend the succession laws, enabling William to be crowned king on the death of Queen Elizabeth 11.

Despite being a little eccentric I rather believe that Charles will be crowned king.

And my own opinion is that unless she finds a way to poison the entire Battenburg clan....Elton has more of a chance of being crowned the Queen of Englandia than Camilla.

They aren't next in line. Charles is next on line and that'd ad it should be.

Frankly Camilla has proven herself worthy of being a queen. That's for the sex games I doubt old Hilary will be seeing any action any time soon unless the poor guy is tied up blindfolded.

It will not be changed...for the Diana factor is always hovering....

Charles, and Camilla are well aware that had they decided on "Queen Camilla," there is a high risk of a move in parliament to change the succession laws, in favour of William.

Charles, and Camilla acted appropriately on wise advice.

I don't believe that involves the throne. Mike said she would "sit on the throne nicely next to King Charles should he become King". If she's not Queen, can she sit there? Has Philip ever sat next to Elizabeth on the throne?
