It's not the smell that bugs me so much. But the sound. Seriously, every friggin commercial has sleigh bells like it was some sort of legal requirement. I guess businesses believe consumers behave like Pavlov's dog when they hear the sleigh bells.

Today is the first day of chilly autumn weather, demanding to wear long sleeve and even gloves (yesterday it was rainy but still pleasantly warm, without the typical stickiness of BCN), and it's barely three weeks until the lights being put in place are on, so Christmas is definitely around the corner

Meh, not right now. We usually start decorating the first week of December, and take everything down after Ukrainian Christmas. Thankfully, radio stations don't usually start playing Christmas music until December... I'm still waiting until November 1st, when they stop playing all the Halloween crap
