What? Me? Really?
To the contrary, it is the best possible time.Worst possible time for the assassination of a polarizing public figure in America. It's like we're being tested. The various events of just the past five days would have put this country into shock fifty years ago, but we're too damaged for that now. People are politicizing Kirk's murder without even knowing the motive. If the government doesn't kill us, we'll most surely do it ourselves.
It is likely this is the beginning of the 2nd Civil War.
The assassination is merely the match that lit the pyre. Our government already failed totally when it allowed a tyrant to not just take power, but to do so being re-elected. At the election itself, the government lost its mandate as a government.
All the weak whimperings and paper rhetoric of the losers didn't do shit to save us. Now, it will all burn, and needs to do so. A stronger nation needs to replace us, from within if possible, from without if not.
Don't waste energy proclaiming peace or restoration. Prepare and accept what is at hand. Fear is the mind-killer. Be the steel that those who faced war before us were. And if it's too hard or not worth the bother, accept defeat and death if that is preferable.
But, the time for denial and hope is past.
Our disintegration as a nation is rapidly approaching.
