Christina's "Back to Basics"

I don't think britney has the voice to "go back to basics" instead, I think she should go in a more hip hop direction. Get a "explicit content" label, ya know? Also, she should cause contraversy and call out people that make fun of her... it would be amazing.

With the success of Toxic, I think she's made a good market for her being a dance artist. Maybe in the future (if there aren't more babies on the way) she could go in a electronic/europop/dance direction...

Enough with her.... can't wait for Back to Basics!

yeah considering she only releases one like every 4 years. I swear, next to Brandy, she's one of the slowest artists out there. But like brandy, her albums are always good.

Yep, I like how Xtina takes her time releasing albums like Brandy does. With every album you can see how Christina actually took her time writing and helping create the sound of her music. It's not like she rushes to crank out cds for the money (***cough...Britney...cough****) or record an album in three weeks (****cough....Beyonce....cough***). I love Miss B and I'm going to get B'Day because I love her, but I wish she didn't rush every album. I'm glad Christina's maturing and growing as an artist with every musical endeavor. You can really tell she just gets better and better.

Seriously, I know Beyonce is talented and can make a "decent" album in three weeks, but her song really sounds like she wrote it in a few days! Maybe I'm over analyzing, but I think she wants the album and her movie to coincide during awards season. Maybe she wants to get a Grammy and an Oscar (I doubt she'll win) at the same time...

Whatever, I'm glad to see talented artists, like Christina, who take time on their work and perfect their art.

I don't think she's trying to "prove" how good she is. She just is a great singer. Yes, she does oversing a bit but that's what I like about her - she gives it her all in a song. I think people will doubt her now, but in the long run, we'll see who's standing last.

She'll probably include her two babies in her next video...coz she knows darn well that the lip-synching thing she's been fooling the audience with is not gonna work. Well if you consider 2/3 weeks not rushing then no. But she also did an album with DC right after her album, then a movie, and now she's already on her next album and movie. She needs to give it a rest and get out of the spotlight for a while. Give people time to miss her.
