Lol---according to trump comey was fired because he exaggerated emails sent on private server---said thousands it was just a few---and in this country Obama is seen as the most honest scandal free president in generations-----although Obama should have fired Comey in the mist of the Hillary email "scandal" LOL---no repubs would have thought that was weird:rotflmao:
this will speed up the impeachment of crazy man----it has to happen---otherwise this country is a bigger joke than what it is--
money grubbing trump made deals with the russians and owes billions to them and has got billions from them----he never thought he would win---so at the time seemed like no big deal---he'd just pick up after he became a private citizen---but as president it is treason and impeachable----right now he is drowning in scandal and trying to survive----Oh and by the way this is the third person investigating him that he fired---Yates Comey and a well respected Indian American NY prosecutor who was also investigating him.
 
I was considering adding a comment to my earlier post that I hoped this would lead to impeachment. Anyone else have a comment on this helping get him impeached?

Republicans will have to decide if country or party comes first. (As impeachment begins in the House.)

Some do indeed believe country comes first. But most? Hmmm.
 
I have no doubt he was fired for reasons other than those stated by the White House.....but he should definitely have been fired, long before now.

most in the know---know trump has committed impeachable deeds----firing 3 people investigating him in his first 100 days of chaos says it all----will the repubs step up and do the right thing----if it is revealed by an independent prosecutor he committed treason ----and the evidence is clear---the repubs will cut their loses and impeach him---the sooner the better politically because in this dumb country ---Pence could bounce back and become a healer and look good ---believe it or not

Interesting that Comey was fired just shortly after the FBI had issued subpoenas to associates of Flynn as part of their investigation.
 
Also I would note that Comey was scheduled to appear before the Senate Intelligence Committee ion on Thursday.

He will still be a witness and can speak without fear of being fired.

Watch the Republicans on the committee. Comey has no standing to appear at this hearing now that he has been removed. He is probably prevented from saying anything about the FBI perspective or activities unless under subpoena.

Who is talking about the rights he has to fire? We're talking about the utter bullshit reasons he is firing, not whether he is allowed to or not. Of course he is allowed to fire, but it also looks very suspicious. And using the Clinton case as a huge reason is just so funny considering he praised Comey for that. Now Trumps supporter base is busy doing mental gymnastics to defend his actions here even though they are the same people who want Clinton arrested.

Even more-so now, everything you say should be completely discredited because you're standing by this action. You very obviously go against your very own views to support his actions. Either man up or stop embarrassing yourself.

I personally agree with the reasons BUT the timing is awful. Combine that with the fact that Trump and company PRAISED Comey when he did these actions, the long delay on taking this action, the ongoing investigation on Russia and you wind up with the appearance that the reasons presented is just a coverup. Now answer honestly, if President Obama had cited these reasons and fired Comey when these incidents occured, whould you have been as willing to accept that at face value?
