Current gas price in your area?

Vehicle Miles fell 4.3% in March, 11 billion fewer vehicle miles in March 2008. This is the firest time that estimated March travel on public roads has fallen since 1979. It appears that prices are finally impacting demand.

Yesterday, May 22, at about 3 pm I paid $ 3.79.9 PER us GALL0N.

On Tuesday May 20, I filled up my business car at $ 3.71.9 near where I live.

It feels strange to think of getting a bargain, but I would like to get my hands on the bloody people at Exxon.

Shep+

Just got done paying $4.16 a gal for premium.

Put in $50 worth, and didn't even fill it up. :dead:

I think I'll 'bike it' to the beach tomorrow.

As I sit here watching the 11pm news on TV, the announcer says, with just a touch of 'pissed off-ness' in his voice, "And since 6 o'clock tonight the price of gas has risen an average of six cents in the Tampa Bay area !"

So, what could have possibly happened in the world in the past five hours to
cause a jump in gas prices ?

The answer is, *nothing*, of course. Except greed, and the fact that it's the start of a holiday weekend here in the states.

Eventually, people are going to get massively fed up with this, especially when the gouging is so obvious.

But alas, that hasn't happened quite yet.

Regular $1.29 litre ($4.88 US gallon)

It's a good thing I only need to fill up every 3-4 weeks. It costs me about $60 CDN to fill my 2007 VW Rabbit

So here's the question...

Has the current price of gas made you change your driving habits?

It hasn't really changed mine but I use very little gas because I use public transit to get to work. I fill every 3-4 weeks

Just curious

Yesterday, I passed the local garage where I get petrol, and it's now 110.9p per litre.

1 US gallon = 3.785 litres, therefore, it would cost £4.197565, but at current exchange prices, 1.00 GBP = 1.98200 USD, hence,

US$8.31957383 or

1US gallon of unleaded petrol = US$8.319 in the UK

$3.99. No, now 4.00. . . 4.01. . .4.02 . . . 4.03 . . . arm . . . leg. . . right nut. . . left nut . . .

Its gone up again here in Gt.Britain.................£1. 16/litre. F*&(^*( hell..................

Regular is 3.95 here but I expect it will go up over the holiday weekend.

In Huntsville, it varies depending on location of the area. At Cowboys, it's 3.74 a gallon. However, everywhere else is between 3.87 to 3.94 a gallon. Outside of the city going north towards the smaller and bigger communities it's 25 cents cheaper than the national average of 3.96 a gallon.

As of today in our area it is:[ $4.21 for regular unleaeded
$4.51 for premium
and 5.17 for diesel.

in one word:: BULLSHIT
